I miss professional gymnastics competitions/random gymnastics exhibitions. Same goes for figure skating. I totally agree with your sentiment - it helps with the creative/artistic/performance side of both sports.

Didn't Valeri & Evgeny Marchenko use the 1st place prize money that Valeri won @ this competition to help open WOGA? You can argue that this competition played a direct role in Carly Patterson & Nastia Liukin becoming Olympic champions over a decade later. :)
