  • chickens make me want to punch them in the face! i mean look at them! so stupid looking and deserves to suffer... *bawwwwwwk!* stupid chicken never learn! *throws egg really hard at it*

  • @IhoptimusLime you are an idiot and you probably deserve to suffer for being such a pathetic excuse for a human. people who intentionally abuse animals are sickos, I hope people keep you away from their small children

  • @frosthazard00 if you are against it then prove ur point why you are.. i like to hear your thoughts about chickens since i gave you mine :/

  • @IhoptimusLime That's not nice to say. The chickens I used to own were quite smart. They had an " I AM HUNGRY, GIVE ME FOOD!" song, one figured how to go over a fence 150 cm tall, they would "bruck" if you said their name, one didn't like their house and slept in the laundry room where it was warmer and they ate their eggs. (Cause they like eating eggs! ) I tried tricking them by giving them a egg shell. Didn't work.

But they were naughty not so average chickens. Good chickens don't do that.

  • Your chicken is so pretty! I have a few Roadies, but they pull out their feathers. I have tried EVERYTHING to help them, but nothing seems to work! I was wondering if chickens learn to pull out their feathers if you remove the fluff off of them when they are chicks? I'm just wondering because I have a baby brother who did that (pulled out the fluff). Anyway, thanks for the help!

  • @Aerodil If they are pulling out their feathers it usually implies that the bird is stressed. The stress could be related to a number of things like illness, living conditions, close proximity with other animals which they consider a threat or a could simply be a habit as you say but its rather unlikely as I've never heard of nor witnessed any such behaviour, its simply a matter of trial and error and pin pointing the issue... Good luck!

  • lol...wtf?

  • She sounds a bit like a crow, I like her very cute!

  • 240p...we meet again.

    5 chickens disliked this video.

  • They can even pinch you in similar circumstances.

  • That's like my chicken. The hen is doing that because she's defending her eggs. But my chicken sits in the Pot Plant and she thinks two Golf Balls and One tennis ball are her eggs.

  • @TheGizzygirlnz we had a hen once that though a HUGE softball was her egg once XD

  • @issyvoo2 Wrong. Rape IS funny.

    Quit being a knowitall, asswipe.

  • @TwistedWalruse Rape isn't funny when you have very bad PTSD from it since the age of 10.

  • mine do that also as a matter of fact they are the same type of chicken but i cannot remember what type it is i have 2 hens that look exactly like that one.

  • the poor hen is yelling RAPE RAPE RAAAPE! XD hahahahahahahahahaha.. funny..

  • have never heard mine do THAT sound. it sounded like an eagle call. obviously she was just warning you to stay away.

  • a rooster is a chicken. the one on the video is a hen and that cock-a-doodle-doo in the beginning was from another chicken (a rooster)

  • i think she was trying to alert the cock i used to have chickens for a while and i hated our cock banty bit me

  • They do that when they are protective over their eggs. Or they just dont want to be disturbed. But lovely hen.

  • That means in their language 'ahh theres a stupid camera in my face, get it away PLEASE!!'

  • I don't like this one..

  • YUMMMY!

  • ...Aww Exactly the same colour as mine =D is she a good layer ?

  • My hens do the same thing!! LOL!!

  • let me translate what the hen is trying to say... "GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM ME BITCHASS NIGGA.. OR IMMA FLY ON YO FACE AND SHIT AT YOU..."

  • your just dumb...

  • do only hens scream like this?? cuz i got 2 roosters and they dont do this..

  • Yes, hens do it when they are laying an egg and screem even more when they are broody.

  • oh hehe thanks 4 the info=D

  • haha, we got a hen just like that, starts screaming if you get too close when she's busy :P

  • UGH I HAVE HEADPHONES IN YOU BUTTWIPE!

  • lol

  • Ovbiously screming cause she's broody and she doesnt want you to steal her eggs. Lol Hehe

  • Crazy scream lol

  • Why are you bothering her?

  • just like my rhode island red, likes to lay low while laying an egg

  • This behaviour is typical of a Rhode Island Red though. When ever almost any chicken is broody, or nesting, they will start squawking when disturbed. Rhode Island Red birds in particular are quite timid birds, well timid or mean, only one though.

  • I had a Rhode Island Red Bantom and she didn't seem any more timid than my other hens.

  • The Rhode Island Red I have is a spastic bird, I hold her then walk away and she just stands there like she's paralyzed. One of our old ones was really nasty though, picked on everyone. But overall, when the chickens are broody, like in the video, they'll scream like that

  • mine puff up and do the same thing but peck at u lol

  • HELP! HELP! HE'S TRYING TO STEAL MY EGG! I think that's what she was saying.

  • hahaha you made me laugh

  • Yeah =) mother hens are so protective, it's so cute! Even when they don't have an egg under them, and they're laying down they raise their feathers and scream, hoping to scare of the theif =D. So cute!

  • what a scream lol

  • that is just too funny!!!

  • hahahahaha

  • It's funny 'cause you notice from the camera's shaking that you got scared one Nancy started screaming.

    xD

  • all mine does the same thing except they also puff up and peck at u

  • yer haha

  • L.O.L.

    "...SQWAUK! SQWAUK! SQWAUK!"

  • looks like she dosen't care for the attention of the pepperazzi

  • Lolz.. once my chicken screamed,, she ran at the dog and the dog tried to chomp her! and i said BAD dog.. and i picked up "louise" and when she say that dog she said "BWaaaaaaaaaaaaah".. I got the point.. Lol.. oh.. beautiful hen too!

  • he he he that was funny

  • Did you know that the most terrifying dinosaur Tyrannosaurus Rex closest living relative is the chicken. Search that!!!! It is true

  • BEAUTIFUL rhode island red!!my hen looks just like her, but she has a single comb..

  • How funny! She sure wants to be left alone!

  • looks like a broody hen to me! Mine get violent when they're broody they puff up and peck like the clappers! I still have the scars on my hands! ouchies.

hehe good video though. Never heard a chicken scream like the before!

  • Boy she sure didn't want YOU around! humans!!! :)

  • sounds like the jurrasic park dinosaur
