  • I'm a protein type, but im not feeling full enough. I eat like 50 sardines, full fat kefir and brown rice everyday. My metabolism keeps on speeding up from all the protein. It seems like my parasymnathic nevrous system is just too strong. What should i do?

  • Myth 3 is not a myth. This video is telling a lie and complicates a very simple fact.

I challenge ANYONE to reduce their calorie intake and see what happens. While I can accept the general theory about Metabolic Typing, it is still a fact that everyone must lose weight with fewer calories.

  • @Entropy56 Not all calories are created equally, if you reduce your overall calorie intake you will lose weight. However, that weight lost will be a combination of fat and muscle tissue. Each pound of muscle you have will burn 30-45 calories a day since muscle is a metabolic tissue. If you simply cut calories in general you train you body to go into a conservative state were you actually will store more fat in the face of an apparent shortage. You may eat plenty, but eat the right stuff for you

  • got to 6:40 and realized the sales pitch had begun LOL selling me some SHIIIIT

  • All this place REALLY wants or cares about is YOUR MONEY. I like how they cleverly throw in a picture of their book without mentioning it haha. "Stop eating the wrong foods for your MT" (metabolic type). Ie. donuts, chocolate, chips, soda, etc. Come to the grips that if you want to be healthy and look the way you want, it's gonna take sacrifice and hard work. If you're an able body person this is easily achievable. And just for the record, the ACTUAL breakdown for HUMANS is 40%C 40&P 20%F

  • There are so many things wrong with this video, I couldn't possibly correct them all if I had an infinite amount of time. A few more points... MAYBE Eskimos "thrive better" on a carnivorous diet because, surprise, THEY LIVE IN FING ALASKA. In case you're not very bright, which is probably the case if you believe this, let me break it down for you. They don't exactly have the choice to pick out tomatoes from their ice garden... (This is called satire)

  • @jkfitpro lol calling someone out for being uneducated and using "your" for "you're". Classic.

  • "Myth 3: Simply reduce Calories, (why is this capitalized?) exercise and eat a balanced diet to lose weight" - What the f*ck? That is one of the dumbest things I have ever read and heard. It must be a joke. People are just looking for excuses or easier ways around the BASIC facts of true health and fitness. Let's take an extreme here... Ever heard of the holocaust? Where people were barely fed and performed exercise. How many fat people did you see in those concentration camps? NONE.

  • just use hydroxycut man

  • A well done overview. Too bad it is a commercial....

One point I would like to bring up is that if some people are having a challenge losing weight, it is important to check hormone balance ie. Thyroid.

  • @researchfiend or running...that works too

  • 'everyone has inherited specific requirements for nutrition, just like lions don't eat leaves and elephants don't eat meat...'

But lions and elephants aren't human.

ALL lions have similar metabolic requirements.

ALL elephants have similar metabolic requirements.

ALL human ancestors evolved in small ecological niches/tropical forest w/similar metabolic requirements.

ALL members within a species have VERY similar metabolic requirements.

  • Why don't the chimps have different 'metabolic types'?

Why is there NO evidence in the scientific literature to support ANY animal (including humans) have different 'unique' 'metabolic types'?

Why is there NO scientific criteria to differentiate 'metabolic types'?

There is more evidence of psychosociological reasons for clinging to cultural diet types. The difference in diet is psychological, not genetic.

  • thousands of years ago there was no or little tooth decay as evidenced by the record of mummies and so forth. Teeth wore down, but didn't rot so much. The problem? Maybe sugar, maybe a new bacteria?

in any case eating meat/meat products or not is not significant.

  • @imnotabear 'thousands of years ago there was no or little tooth decay as evidenced by the record of mummies and so forth. Teeth wore down, but didn't rot so much. The problem? Maybe sugar, maybe a new bacteria?

The main problem is that it is customarily taboo now for humans to breast feed until 7 years old in developing nations at least. But humans have stronger teeth and bones, etc when staying on human milk as opposed to cow milk. The wild fruit was not hybridized so there was less sugar.

  • @jkfitpro 'weston price'

Is dead, along with dr atkins...

After dropping animal products and replacing fish with lettuce/sprouts, my blood pressure dropped ten points and digestion is far better.

You won't find 'vegan tribes' because u won't find any 'tribes' of humans eating perfect. u also won't find whole tribes of people exercising perfectly either. Something called culture is a confounding variable in diet for humans. Meat consumption is custom, not genetic instruction.

  • props to BILL WOLCOTT, WILLIAM KELLY and GEORGE WATSON (discovered the OXIDATIVE SYSTEM which the METABOLIC SYNDROME is based on as well).

    Dr. Moo-Twahz, N.D.

  • Love the video! That book, and metabolic typing is amazing!

  • Thus the video was very informative and kind. Thank you. I've always believed that everyone was different. This explains why some of us have certain genetic diseases that our parents had passed down, but the parents never got. As for vegan, there are plant substitutes and combination's for every animal food.

  • 'I've always believed that everyone was different'

On a molecular basis this is true. From a systemic point of view, there is little genetic variation among humans. The furthest genetic distance between any 2 people is less than 0.01%. Chimps have more genetic variability yet they don't have drastic diet requirements. Humans don't generally have vastly different nutritional requirements either as they evolved in the equatorial Africa ecological niche and digest fruit best like all great apes.

  • That's right, he found no vegan tribes in the world. It's just not healthy.

  • though that is what he found during his research, i wouldn't agree that it wasn't healthy as no one way of eating is healthy for all people, though a long process of fine tuning my own diet, I have found that not eating meat, fish or dairy is actually ideal for my body type

  • @davidelhealth 'I have found that not eating meat, fish or dairy is actually ideal for my body type'

If your 'body type' is H. sapiens, this is not unique. Although, congratulations on the biochemically compatible diet for hominoidea. Meat requires opposing digestive processes to fruit. It isn't a single gene or several genes involved in digestion, there are hundreds of chemical pathways involved. The human genome is a continuum and meat consumption causes numerous diseases with multiple routes.

  • @FabChrissy , your conclusion is not logical

  • oooh, I want that piece of salmon now.

    -)

  • Yeah ! Salmon is best kind meat food ever!
