With all do respect to the poster of this video...Just because Magic played this in 2003 (which I marched with them that year) does not mean you should say that. Your version of Abram's Pursuit, was very far away from the version that Magic actually played. I should also add that Crystal River High School (My High School) actually played Abram's Pursuit in 2001, prior to the Magic doing it.

@armybrian2004 who are you? i was also in magic in 03.... i also wrote jensens drum book.... i basically designed the show off of the magic version cause i liked it... im sure whoever said what you are responding to doesnt know much and didnt mean anything by it :)

i love the zigzagging drumline in the second movement, and the umbrella dance. Abrams Pursuit is a great piece, we sightread it the other day. I wish my band played like that!

I Go to srhs and were a small town too though we have alot of kids in our band:) it was hot during the day performance then at night it was freezing, lol

@Souljaboy666 - we r a small town and a medium to small sized band. We I think had 120 kids this year, idk. Most bands near us have 160+. our sound is great bc we put all we hav behind it

Wonder if anyone noticed but in "On a Hymsong of Philly Bliss" (the second one) the random Euphonium with the Woodwinds, in the outer box im the one on the top left side (Left is the side closest to the drumline) he is with the left side WW for the whole ballad and a few sets in "Into the Storm"...well that guy is me......it was sad

This is the final for Crown Jewel here, but on the preliminaries we had the entire Stands stand up and cheer for us after the first few bars, and then after every single piece. At the awards when the announced that we got 2nd (I think Deltona got first) everyone was like WTF?! and that "Spinning Circle of Death" is supposed to be a Square.

@brookeleannxo2 For this year, Sebastian did have Overall Best Drum Majors with a score of 95. Last year we (Jensen) did have the highest scoring drum major, with a score of 89... Sebastian had 87 last year. JPT had 88...
