Thanks for watching my videos! I have been playing since I was 12 yrs. old... I can't disclose how old I am now!! But I've been drumming for a while now, and I love it more now than I did when I was a kid!! Good luck with your drumming!
OMG i cant help watching your videos, you are so inspiring that every time i have a look at them i want to play the drums and try new things..seriously! You are awesome , please keep on covering!
Thank you SO MUCH for your compliments! I can't tell you how great it is to know that people are inspired by these videos and to know that it makes you want to practise the drums!! I wish you the best of luck with your drumming!
Hi, your videos are extremely inspiring and after the awesome and brilliant ideas at the start of this recording I had to leave a comment, you really have style and groove! What were and are your influences? Do/did you play "just" rock, or other kind of music?
@KillerDrummer88 Thank you for your beautiful comments!! I have a university degree in music and I spent most of my career playing orchestral percussion as well as playing in rock bands! I like all kinds of music, from world music to opera and everything in between! Good luck with your drumming and thanks for writing!
You are one of my favorite drummers. And you give great lessons. Can you post advanced drum lessons., I am having trouble with drum rolls and hitting crashes at the same time like in 0:52
Hi There! I think at 0:52 what I am doing is like a 5 stroke roll, with the 5th (single stroke) being played on the cymbal and bass drum... so r r l l R, l l r r L...
After you have mastered that, you can incorporate the 7 stroke roll, six stroke roll (see my other videos!!) 9 stroke roll etc. etc.
The 5 stroke roll works well because it is like playing triplets with some doubles and some singles.
coated pinstripes really decay the sound of the toms....there is no resonance whatsever..remo ambassadors would be a better choice ! these drums now sound like they are muffled with towels !! ..good playing none the less !
well some people like that sound but these arnt pinstripes, they just have remO's which do the same thing to ambassadors as the stripes do to pinstripes
I am sorry, I don't even remember what heads I was using... the important thing is that the Sonor Force 2007 drums are awesome and that the tuning of the drums is done carefully... tom heads loose-ish, snare heads tight!! Good luck!!
can you cook?

What's up with the floor tom? Is there a drum head just sitting on top of the actual head? It looks like it's moving around.
