The dead sea scrolls are identical to the masoretic text of the Jewish Tanakh. The have nothing to do with the Christian NT nor is any of the NT in the DSS. The dead sea scrolls confirm only that the present day Jewish Tanakh has remained exactly the same over the last 2000 years and both are different than the Christian old testament.
For example: when he is is talking about the 7Q5 fragment being a part of the Gospel of Mark, this is something that scholars have LONG since debunked. Conveniently missing from this powerpoint discussion is that there are 20 Greek characters on the fragment, and only 14 of them are legible! As if that weren't enough to give pause, in order to have this fragment match the text of Mark 6:52-53, you would need to omit 3 letters, which is unattested in any surviving manuscript. Poor scholarship!

This is the worst scholarship in action I have ever seen on the DSS. As a DSS scholar, I'm distraught by watching people be so easily swayed by his rhetoric. Sure, if you watch this video without any background, it's easy to follow his arguments, as he presents them in an ostensibly straightforward manner, but unfortunately he is painting an inaccurate picture.

Isn't God amazing! If you agree with the speaker's conclusions, consider the following:
- Israel became a nation again as was prophesied in Isaiah 66:8. This happened in 1948.
- The messsages in the Dead Sea Scrolls were found around the same time period.
- The Dead Sea Scrolls include a copy of Isaiah.
- Isaiah 40:8 literally reinforces the concept that the word of our God stands forever.
It's hard to imagine that God is not telling us something by all this! I praise my God!
