Let me settle this and speak from experience. ALL opiates are addictive, and ALL will leave you dope sick if you quit after doing them for a while. @PharodWormhair it's not NEARLY as addictive as synthetic opiates like heroin. One reason being that is isn't as easily used. As no addict would grow it themselves, it'd take too long. Opium is really one of the only natural and addictive drugs. Coca leaf for example is very healthy and non-addictive whereas cocaine is not!

When you withdrawal from heroin, you're simply kicking a semi-synthetic form of morphine. When you kick opium, you withdrawal from morphine, codeine, thebaine, and over 50 other narcotic alkaloids. Stop talking out of your ass.

There isn't a physical withdrawal syndrome when you kick cocaine addiction (you don't get physically ill and vomit). From a physiological standpoint, you would be hard pressed to argue that it's addictive at all. Whether coca is psychologically addictive would depend on an individual's psychological makeup and preference.
