I'm betting 50 years ago when ST TOS came out sliding doors were as "far out" as intergalactic spaceships are for us today, yet today we have them in every mall! Sci-fi is important. oh boy, oh boy, i cannot believe i have never seen this. i am a HUGE stargate fan. i watched every episode of every season. i watched all the movies. and the funny thing about this video is that i recently signed on to netflix in order to rewatch all the shows, starting from the beginning to the end (i use the term "end" very loosely). please bring back SGU!!!!!!!!
Im not a nerd, im not a geek, i dont know who netflix are but if SGU returns I will shore as hell find out who netfix are and i am amoung the millions who stream sgu to my pc, since im in uk and they come out in us 1st i can watch them day after release, so this guy is definatly on to something
unfortunatally TV companies have to go by their ratings system as its the only way that they can charge companies x amount for the prime time interval advertising which makes the tv companies money!! Thing is they need to come up with another way of doingthings as its going to get to the point where everything is cancelled as i like millions never watch the programs live i either record them or watch them online!
Time for TV companies to rethink and get with the 21st century!!

@Poonard well, i do like WH13 BUT SG!, SGAtlantis, SGUniverse, so comparison - what a group of GREAT shows! and the actors as well, they seem like old friends and i miss them! See some of them in the SYFY Original movies here and there, but its just not the same, at ALL! What I really want is for them all to continue, forever! Whoever put a stop on the Stargate Franchise is stupid, dumb and mean! So many more plots, places to go and things to explore out there -

Netflix has to put up a big offer on the table for Stargate to comback because Spyglass ownes MGM now and they are said to be done with the stargate franchise
@dasaxophonist Indeed! That's why I suggested Netflix make an *exclusive* deal for the new episodes, like they did for House of Cards. Spyglass takes no risk, and both companies win.
@CIarKent Don't underestimate the creativity of the SGU team! The brilliantly open ending of season 2 makes continuation possible without all the sets and actors. Besides, most of the set components and production molds remain in MGM's warehouses, and shooting can be scheduled around the actors' other commitments. This is especially viable with a streaming show that's not tied down to a seasonal schedule.
@CIarKent Movie is always an option, however a season 3 is highly unlikely, unless by some miracle netflix gets the rights, and maybe in 3-4 years sets up a season 3 once most actors are available. Which I don't see happening. Go movie! :)
@seronic How about a story arc with Eli swapped via communication stone with a Jaffa keeping his body alive on the shuttle with kelno'reem meditation for 3 years? We follow Eli and Telford's adventures with Stargate Command. After 3 years when Destiny arrives at the new galaxy (and more actors are available), back we go to the regular story!
