Drafts do work in the MLS, they either have long MLS careers or had some experience overseas. You can draft college and United States U-20 youth academies like Jack McInereny from the Union.

@FootbalFutbolS0ccer Every MLS team has their own youth academies (Premier Developmental League) and develop them from your own background instead for them to escape to go to college. They also brought back the reserve league for players who aren't MLS ready.
