  • I recommend EPR - easy presentation remote app on iPhone of Knowlicity.

I tried many presentation remote apps but this EPR is the best.

It turns your iPhone/iPod touch into a stylish and reliable remote control for your PowerPoint presentation.

  • PowerPoint is great for quick presentations that don't really require a lot of time in preparation (generally) but if you have the time (for presentations you should make time) try out Prezi (prezi.com) it does away with the concept of slides and uses 'zooming' as a way to navigate through your presentation and also allows for easier sharing afterwards. Just a thought!

  • I loved your presentation. I coach a lot of business people who give financial presentations where they have to display the numbers. How would you do a financial version of your PowerPoint?

  • What is the font used in this video?

  • this guys hit the bull's eye straight away!

  • yes I am going to do awesome tomorow at my presentation I hardly wrote a word yesss

  • Wow. That means that I have a great powerpoint presentation. I hardly put texts. He is right its a distraction, people know what your saying, no one pays attention to what your saying. If you want people to hear you and not see through you then avoid adding to much texts. I remember in high school someone used powerpoint and added on a loooooooooong as text. Paragraph after paragraph. We all wanted to shoot ourselves.

  • "Power Point is boring" - Dwight

  • Great!Thanks!

  • i dont want to know what not do fuckin do..

    not helpful

  • It depends on the subject matter and your audience I think, for example I have a technical presentation and I find bullet points convey the information perfectly, complemented with images.

  • o:24 pacman xD

  • I just need it for homework ...Thank you for sharing...

  • Well done....

  • Well Done!

  • Well done!

  • Great, Thanks for sharing :-)

  • lol , haha nice :D thanks

  • BLOW ME

  • great vid. but i dont agree with the fact that your points should be in order frmo most importanty to least important. heres a better order:

    1. second most important

    2. least important

    3. most important

most people, when reading an article or viewing a presentation remember the end better then whatever they heard before it.

  • B.S. to try and compare to Steve Jobs... They practice for days, and they have a teleprompter at the bottom of the stage. As far as loading with images, easier said than done for most powerpoint users. The clip art sucks, and most people cannot tell a story with one image. Not that its impossible, just not gonna happen when you have deadlines.

  • i just needed it for homework :D

  • Wow, so images tell more than bullet point sumary, cool. But for the old fashoned teachers who think that they shoud see bullet points on a power point presintation to make it complete, not a good idea. I'm gonna give it a try.

  • It's be interesting to see how many people are using their blackberries/tweeting during large business conferences. Probably not the best compliment for a speaker!

  • We should send this to Xzibit!!

  • It's amazing how a powerful image can convey so much more that a list of bullet points on a slide.

  • I feel a lot more comfortable with my presentation I've got to do now.

  • definitely agree with images being more powerful than words!

  • This guys great - makes public speaking seem so exciting!!

  • these images are fantastic!

  • this is going to be really useful - cheers!

  • Have a presentation this monday all of this is the truth and will help a lot! thanks guys

  • Ha ha ha, I never though I would be be amused by a video on Powerpoint.

If only some of the presentations I have suffered had watched this video.

  • I am an apple user and have just started using Keynote...debating the pros and cons of both!

  • Great advice and great speaker.

  • Pimping advice, powerpoint can be so bad, so this really is good advice !

  • I like Andy Bounds take on Powerpoint and I also completely agree on the part where he says do not give out copies of your presentation, as it does make your audience lose interest. Best of all, his advice is very down to earth and easy to understand. That's what I like :) No frills attached!

  • Jobs is a great presenter... the i-phone launch presentations is here on YouTube - well worth checking out for anyone speaking to an audience.

    Less is more!

  • Andy Bounds gave 8 great tips about how to "pimp your powerpoint" something I think is becoming more and more essential as presentations become electronic. I also loved the spin put on the show similar to MTVs Pimp my Ride

  • Andy really hits the nail on the head in this one!

I mean, doesn't it get on your nerves when people just read straight off their slides?

  • Yep - and looking forward to a new weekly series with iStockPhoto as well

  • @yourBusinessChannel you read my mind
