The gas issue i can see...But AAA considers the GT and the V6 from 1999-2002 the same. So,l when i got the GT my insurance actually went down $10 a month lol. For some reason they charge more for 2003-2004GT's.

Btw my supercharged Millenia is a 4-door sedan, the insurance is $30 a month partly because of that, and it runs 0-60 in the 7s and 1/4 mile in high 15s. I also return 25-30 mpg on a normal basis, now why would you want a car thats slower, has ridiculous insurance rates, and gets worse gas mileage ?? Poser.
93 octane does not help at all in a car that requires just 87. Maybe if your car was a high compression supercharged engine like mine then and ONLY then would it make a difference. My supercharged Milly requires 91-93 octane, the Mustang requires 87, this guy is dumb for thinking 93 will help performance in a normal 87 car, it just doesnt. Higher Octane rated gas is for higher compression engines !!! Is your Mustang supercharged or turbo and have high compression ???
There is a large number of people out there that just needlessly throw in 91 or 93 octane in their car thinking it will give them better gas mileage or power, but if their car does not recommend or require 91/93 octane then the result is null power and mpg gains. Im not just saying that, yeah he also probably doesnt have a handheld tuner. You are just assuming, which makes an ass out of you and me.

I raced one of these cars in my 3.4L Firebird and beat it. It had no chance. I thought it would have beeen a decent race, but no.
AS far as 93 octane you just wasted your money unless you got your ecm retuned for 93. Your car doesn't requre high octane b/c it doesn't have a high compression raito. So basically just a waste of money thrown in your tank.

If you look at it. The 3.8L Mustang in 2000 had like what 183hp or so(give or take a few more). Ik the tq is around that but not over that. Now my 95 Firebird 3.4L comes 160hp and 200 ilbs of tq. So I guess really my tq made up for it.

if your chip is setup properly for it the higher level of octane in the 93 will give you a better burn and gives you more power, thus better acceleration and speed

Really? My 2000 V6 5 speed with long tube headers, cold air intake, stage 2 clutch, and coilover suspension left VTECs in the dust in a 1/4 mile. The VTEC Civic had intake, exhaust, header, and plug wires. My V6 Mustang snacks on stock Civics.

@Jamishxc24 Yeah ik it was around there. Probably the kid or previous owner didn't take care of the car. Or maybe it wasn't one of the better ones that came from the factory. Not every car that comes from the factory dynos the same. Some have a lttle bit more than 190hp some have a little bit less.
