Maybe when you were in High School you read a different version than I did, but I believe you left out the part about the narrator running into the house and getting the bird book to figure out what the bird was called. And that the narrator refered to Doodle as 'His Scarlet Ibis'. Other than that, you did a very good job. The two boys did their acting very well. I believed Doodle's character so much. Thanks for this, I always wished it would've been made into an actual film.

I thought the video was good, you portrayed the characters and story line well even though your nephews could speak little English and the hurricane aspect of the story was not used in the video. I especially enjoyed the setting you used since the part of Israel you were in reminded me of the areas discussed in the story. I also liked the narration because when matched with the video it gave me a better understanding of what the story is about and what was happening in it.

The story is very sad but in a great way. It teaches us to be thankful for the people that surrounds us and not take them for granted. The video is great ! They can really act. The songs were my favorite. -- Ashley C.

Although there wasn't a hurricane coming towards the end of the video, like there was in the story, the kids were good actors and they portrayed the meaning of the video very well. You could sense the brotherly bond between the two boys. The story is very sad. I liked the narration, it helped me understand the text better. This video made me think about my own siblings and how you have to appreciate them because you don't know what you have until its gone.

Probably one of the most important lessons in life, appreciate things while you have them because you'll never know when they will be gone. It is becuase when they are gone, you will live in regret for the rest of you life wondering that you could have done things better, it is the worst feeling in the world. So appreciate your parents, siblings, and teachers because you have a lot more than other children your age.
