To make it into a site u have to use the slice tool and then import it to a webpage editor, eg. dreamweaver or frontpage

its best to use it with dreamweaver. Design ur site in photoshop, slice it up using the slice tool and save it as an html document....then drop it into dreamweaver and edit txt etc in there!

When you start a new doc. It will give you the option to set the background to white, black, transparent ... If however you have already started working and don't want to restart. Make a new layer. Fill it with White paint. TheN move that layer down to the bottom. There ya go :)

Paintshop? Do you mean Photoshop lol? Paintshop pro is Java, Adobe is Photoshop. There different updates. The latest is CS3. If you have a lot of space (memory) I would go for that. If you don't I would go for something less, like Photoshop Cs 7-9. I have Photoshop 8 CS and it works great.
