I just cut the pointed thorned tips with ktchen shears...cut off stem so artichoke sits flat in pan & on plate We loved to dip the leaves in a lemon butter sauce, scraping the "meat" with your teeth
Good job on the vid, I've just gotten into using fresh artichokes as opposed to canned or jarred. Couple questions, what should you look for in fresh artichokes, as in are a couple brown spots okay? Also I noticed yours still had the outer green layer, are those okay to cook and eat?
I could not understand the so called english.No help for me................

Oh yeah using the fresh ones is so different from the canned ones...

Well alot of the green layers are not eatable because they are too fibery. you will find out what is eatable and whats not after you boil them.
