@broadwaylvr03 A man (Sean Hayes) rents out his apartment to people he works with (so they can have affairs) in order to get promoted. He's in love with Fran (Kristin Chenoweth) but she's got a boyfriend. He soon rents out his apartment to only his boss to guarantee a promotion. Won't say anymore to give away spoilers, but it is a fantastic, hilarious show and I highly recommend it!

Just when, oh when, are they going to turn this into a movie????? The soundtrack is just SO swingin' 60s! Even though I was born in '72, a lot of my favorite TV shows and cartoons (and including movie musicals) are from the 60's and 70's. The idea of this turning into a feature film (with both soundtrack and spoken dialogue) sounds sooooo cute! ;)

@TheatreFanatic4eva Probably so, but at least it would still have SUCH a fun, catchy soundtrack to bebop to. Anyways, I have yet to see the movie that it was based on, what was it, "The Apartment" with Jack Lemmon and Shirley MacLaine, besides they already gave "Hairspray'" the exact same treatment (musical based on the 1988 John Waters flick, then turned into a 2006 movie-musical) Then again, who knows? Sounds like a REAL novel idea if you ask me =)

I saw the show Wednesday night and loved it. So much heart and talent on stage. And the choreagroahy is wonderful. I loved it. Sean Hayes should get a Tony nomination as should Katie Finneran. Kristen Chenoweth was wonderful also, even if she was a little miscast. She soon made you forget it...

Saw this show last night! I couldn't stop smiling. Sean's acting and timing were spot on, Kristin nailed every single one of her songs, and Katie Finneran better get a Tony nomination for Best Supporting Actress!!!
