@grimmss1 Yes for 2004 the GT was the base model, I used to own one. There was three trims available that year, the GT1, The GT2 and the GTP. The one shown here is the GT2.
@grimmss1 No big deal. Yeah, my first Grand Prix was a 04 GT1 base with the cloth interior and non-polished alloy wheels. It still had the split exhaust and fog lights. The GT2 had the polished wheels and offered options like leather seating as well as leather wrapped shifter and steering wheel.
@grimmss1 What a crazy move eh? Yes I am very unhappy that Pontiac is gone. The new Buick Regal? Ha ha ha ha ha, don't get caught behind Grandma and Grandpa as they're driving to bingo 15 MPH under the speed limit in the fast lane with the signal left on. Also have you seen the 2012 Impala? What a dull boring looking car. If I was an Impala fan I would be very disappointed. The design looks way outdated.
@robertkurt2 the 2012 impala is almost a mirroed new gen malibu. I dont get GM's moves these days, very un-competitive with todays vehicles, the new fords seem to be getting better and better, styling performance, its a shame im a gm fan but they arent performing in any areas like they use to. The new Camaro is built out of the Oshawa plant in ontario, canada. I was a student at the local college there, I would see them all the time!

@robertkurt2 I am a 1994 Impala owner. In my opinion one of the only true muscle cars built in the 90's miss the days of cheap gas and true raw horsepower!

@grimmss1 Yeah and I think they're on the same platform as the Grand Prix and Monte Carlo.
What do you think of the 2012 Impala?
