I doubt that we'll see Mr Rooter publicized on SO-CALLED news for any misdeeds; as nearly all large companies fall under a larger corporate umbrella. These monopolies are steered by CEO's that are members of a small -"elite executive boys club"; members of this "CLUB" system are beholden to eachother and are sworn to loyalty and secrecy. Most importantly, the chiefs of the world's several media and news (sources) conglomerates are the really big bosses who control all big business.-MONOPOLY!!!

This current (corporate) business model displaces quality, affordable, owner/operator, local, caring, involved, neighborly, humane business practices. We are made to travel though highways and cities to get to our work destinations wasting precious resources: time, fuel, energy, vehicle valuation, sanity. We the people are being sucked dry by these PARASITIC leeches and vultures. Our lives are being destroyed; finances wrecked, kids corrupted and criminalized, women radicalized, men hypnotised.

Workers are made to work unreasonably demanding hours and schedules inorder to make enough money to support a family. Inorder to pay corporate share holder profit's; WE customers pay dearly. Inorder to sustain the INEFFICIENT Corporate Business Model, which includes MASSIVE ADVERTISEMENT and MARKETING EXPENSES (AKA trickery), OVERHEAD and MANAGEMENT COSTS (AKA dead weight), CORPORATE OFFICES AND EXECUTIVE(robbers/theifs) SALARIES AND GOLDEN PARACHUTES(pirate booty) -we have to pay in BLOOD.

@fatoilet -Honestly, these huge "ROOTER" companies are destroying our local economies just like Wallmarts. They're driving-out little companies and over burdening their (mostly) underqualified employees. This CORPORATE MODEL IS INEFFICIENT; it requires massive revenue to pay for SHAREHOLDER PROFITS, big advertisement, marketing, and management costs. Ultimately, the burden is carried by over-worked and under-compensated workers with little hope to see any real retirement benefits. WE ALL LOSE; )

I worked for a Drilling company out of Plymouth Ma. for the past 23 years. There isnt much I do not know about pumps and wells & I'm only 42. Any one looking for a quality pump mechanic . , sales person, driller , welder,plumber, truck driver, electrician, landscaper,tree feller,. These are just a few qualities you need to be a quality Service tech for a well company. Trust me i know. Ive seen many a man fall on his face. so many stories so few,Remaining characters count:

Actually this video illustrates how things should be done properly, the well was at ground level and a extension was welded on to confirm to code. Also a sealed well cap with vent was installed. The only thing i can comment on is that the torque arrestor should have been spread out more. Would i call mr-rooter to my place to get a pump put in no. And yes plumbers have no place in the well business but they did do the job right.

@xjdubber I agree there also should have been more than one bumper on there "torque arrestor" as we call them in New England. Can you imagine the stuff that washed down that well the nitrates from doggy do do. I personally like to see wire guards on anything over 200' deep spread out every 15-20' at least to prevent wire chaffing xj is right these guys did do a decent job. Nice looking Xtrol in the basement was that a WX-252? Is that a 7 G.P.M 3/4 hp or a 1 hp?

I worked for mr. rooter, in order to make money you need to rip off the customer. we get a tiny portion of what we sell. most helpers at mr. rooter are illegals, and those who are legal don't get paid... i can't wait to see mr. rooter on headline news for all their bad business ethics and hopefully along with a class action lawsuit by all those employees and customers who have been abused by mr. rooter

Yea i Know those big companies do that ! I used to work for ASAP Electrical,USA electrical! those guys are rip off!:)) we get 35% commision so we had to rip off people big time;) Those big companies cannot be shut down ! :) they start a new name keep the same employees its gonna go on and on :) hire somebody with the license pay them3.000$ and in couple monthes lincense won't be active:)
