maybe the idea is.. it won't have to make a hard landing on its feet, but instead spread wings and 'glide' its way down, to a softer landing.

@L10R a proposal i think makes sense, it may have an awkward landing, however they may refer to the real locust for extra help

On that one High jump it seemed like it was gonna explode on impact. Great toy for the kids!
