hell of lot easier to use a teleporter, set a sender anywhere. and take a receiver out there(useing the back and forth method) set the receiver down next to skull and your golden!

theres a easier way to do it just get trip mines till parts of the map disappear then the map is over loaded then the beams dont bother to shoot you

For Sandbox, just take a tube corner, get inside it and then keep control of the corner and make it go so the Guardians can't get you.

Easier way is to get a tube corner and then stay inside it while your dragging it over to the skull. Took me 30 seconds, if not less.

There is an easier way to get the sandbox skull if your not skilled enough to dodge the death rays. You take a Tube Corner and take it so the face of one side of it points toward skull and the other side covers your back and get inside and pick it up now slowly move towards the skull until your corner is right infront of it and boom skull.

for sandbox i found it ALOT easier to bring teleporter out there..then teleport out there drop a bubble shield and BAM!!! grab the skull do a little dance and then look at the laser's as they try and kill you
