be careful with your time man, and make sure your improv style reflects the style of the tune- i.e. this is not the setting for a bunch of blues licks. nice job over the bridge those changes sometimes trip people up
Hey man you sound good. However, it sounds like you're looking for places to put licks into your solo (like the ends of phrases) without letting them happen naturally. If the solo needs something, let it happen, but you don't need to put all this bad shit in there if there doesn't need to be post-modern hipness. Try just to think about the line as a single thing, away from licks you know or whatever. It will sound more melodic, and it's the only thing I can say to improve your playing.

@JacobShulman ????? wth you talking about. He sounds great and it doesnt sound like that he needs your advice.

@Allansean05 Notice how JacobShulman started out by commenting "Hey man you sound good... .however", and the rest was just needless.
Either he sounds good or he doesn't. IMO this dude has great concept and anticipation.

@JacobShulman It's sounds as if he's putting licks together. And you're right about the unnatural sound of those.

@grrrroink so you wouldnt care if a 5 year old played with same skill as a professional in his 50s? extremes, but you get the point.

You sound great man! That's a great chromatic pattern at 3:00. I'm pretty sure I've heard Chris Potter play it. Consider it stolen.
