Fun Fact. At 1:24 That would NOT happen. Shooting the fuel tanks of the flamethrower would not cause it to explode. The chemicals have to mix before they become combustable... shooting the tank would just cause the chemical container shot to leak.
@Grimno yes, i remember hearing a story where a medal of honor winner(i think) said his tank got shot but only in one side so it didn't blow up. wouldn't it take a shot to the center or 2 close shots in each tank to make it go?
@ryith Because that's what they're generalized as. It's like shooting the red barrels and such. One movie did it right and that was The Thing (Not the 1980's one, the more recent one). In the movie -SPOILERS- one of the guys who has the flamethrower was shot and went down. His tank also took a few hits but didn't explode. It was not until the chemicals that were leaking out pooled up and touched the open flame at the nozzle, did it explode.
@Grimno i saw r lee ermey in lock n load shot a pyramid of fuel barrels with 50 cal. and they exploded .. i think the bullet just need enough heat to do so..
