"War on Women" is hyperbolic nonsense? I suggest you educate yourself on the issues and what is taken away from (mostly poor) women in the name of defending the unborn. Shmuck!
Also, I think it has more to do with GOP legislation that seeks to do things like redefine rape (and victims of rape), have the IRS audit abortion recipients, etc than it has to do with budget cuts that affect women.
I do believe it was called a "War on Women" because they wanted to ask the entire budget of Planned Parenthood just because some clinics offer abortion services. If they had just wanted to cut back, it would have been fine, but they wanted to get rid of it entirely. As a woman who can only get pap smears and birth control from a Planned Parenthood clinic, I was greatly disturbed by this, since I don't enjoy surprise babies or cervical cancer.
The only thing that is absolute is this: entitlements will go away whether we like it or not. When the dollar is removed as the world's reserve currency and we default on our debt, seniors and welfare recipients will stop getting their checks. To some extent we can manage their dissolution or we can remain stupid and they can end in a complete meltdown. Either way they will end...as they should.

To claim you are one of the few who understand the Constituion and "others" are waging war on the "aMerican People" and both parties are now OMG! socialists! comes across as paranoid not serious thinking.
@337noname No. You are wrong. We got here by IGNORING the Constitution. The rest of your comment is an Ad hominem attack upon the maker of this video, and bears no real argument.
@PurpleNurpleUrple I can't tell if you're trying to be ironic or not with your comment. As for Jack and his video, if he isn't smart enough to get my point, he's no better the politicians he's ranting against.

@337noname "not serious thinking"? Do you lack the ability to understand the simple math in this video alone?
The analogy of this nation as a sinking ship doesn't even quite fully represent the problem.
We are more like a airplane plummeting out of the sky with most republicans, democrats, and people like you who are refusing to accept any parachute hand outs from Rand Paul while being very determined to crash yourselves and everyone else on the plane straight into the ground.
@remyllebeau77 It's really nice of you and Rand Paul to bless us ordinary humans with your all knowing omnipresent. If you all ever get your feet back on planet earth, I'll be right here wondering wtf up with the parachute? ROTFLMAO!

@337noname You mean "Pull" not "Put" right? It is almost humorous to have someone tell me to do math when they can't even answer a simple question about it much less actually do it. Your stats from "Save the Children"
When one looks at the actual numbers for the national debt, they are staggering. Hunter points out here what should be obvious. Social Security, Medicaid, Medicare, the military-industrial complex and the domestic-police-prisons industrial complex; these things are all forms of extreme socialism.
in reality it was only 353 million according to the washington post. That is 1.5h of debt increase. They are great organizers, we should have them run the roads, nucleair power plants and steal from you to protect your property.
These butt heads are still playing the game. Thinking that we're not on to them. Boehner said something the other day about how "we're not going to raise the debt ceiling unless we have significant cuts ... ". Has ANYONE noticed the stupidity of that statement? IF there were "significant cuts", we wouldn't HAVE to RAISE the debt ceiling satch!
Wait, Republicans do seem to be against Homosexuals, Teachers, Police, Firefighters and do want to tell a woman what to do with her body. Now what this has to do with "tarantulas" I have no Idea. Plus Republicans want to pay off the debt on the backs of the poor and middle class. Now I'm not a Democrat but I do believe that Republicans are the worst party. I do however like some of the points Jack has made, and there needs to be more Republicans like him.
Liberty is IMPOSSIBLE while a Central Bank Monopoly with Fiat Debt-Currency & Fractional Reserve Banking promotes Corruption.
The Fed corrupts crony politicians with power to borrow, debase & spend to buy “support” from Special Interest Groups, Unions, “Too Big to Fail” Corporations, the Military-Industrial Complex & Wall Street Cartels.
Central Banking = the Despotism of Central Economic Planning, Political Bribery & Cronyism!
This video again shows how succinct and elegant Jack’s commentary is. It can’t be said enough that the current status quo is what is extreme - not the constitutionalist view. Our massive deficit should continually be put into perspective against the feeble attempts at “cuts” by our gutless politicians. Those suggesting real solutions, like Paul, Demint and Mike Lee, need to be championed as the only politicians doing their job. Jack does it so well and I hope he can find a larger audience.
Jack is never at a loss for words, and always seems to present a cogent argument that makes all the cockroaches run when the light shines on them - regardless of what party they belong to.
anyone else find this interesting? My source is opensecrets(dot)org Goldman Sachs funding for 2010 representatives John Boehner $15.000.00 - Rep. Eric Cantor $27,650.00 - Rep. @jameslrd Your post is important in that is shows the BOTH party leaderships have been bought and paid for. Your post was market as spam. Please post is again, and again, and again on EVERY political YouTube video you can find. NeoCons & Democrat Socialists MUST learn that they are being betrayed!
A war on Women HAHAHAHHAHAHAHA OK if that's true then all i can say is what took so long... feminists and their stooges in the government have been waging a war on men for the past 40+ years so if there is such a thing as Pelosi insists
then I can't really say that I feel sorry for them. But the truth is that with all the
nations problems right now financially and politically there are far bigger concerns for government then women avoiding their responsibility as parents.
I know when I was in debt, I took a second job along with cutting my spending. Maybe our government should increase it's income and cut it's spending.
There is nothing Republican about any of these jackholes! And as for Democrats, they've been a lost cause since the days of Andrew Jackson. They're all scum, not a one worth a damn, short of maybe Ron and Rand Paul.
"Help me Boner Wan Kenobi",...."These aren't the cuts you're looking for",..."move along, move along"
Our political leaders of the past had the foresight to raise taxes whenever we went to war with the exception of Bush and Obama. Instead, we have seen tax cuts go out which favor the super wealthy and corporations which has bankrupted us. Close corporate tax loopholes, let the Bush tax cuts for the top 2% expire, end the wars overseas, and see if we still have a debt crisis. Shared sacrifice should never mean cuts in benefits for the working man and tax cuts for the rich.
When a household is heavily in debt, they don't say "We need to stop buying gum." They say "We need to get rid of the Cadillacs and cancel our vacations." Right now, most in Congress and the US are bitching over Tic Tacs and Trident.
How about we stop the war on our freedom and wealth? How about we stop the war on our way of life? How about we stop the war on the U.S. Constitution?
Fiscal conservatives should be smiling because the debate has changed from how much will be spent to how much will be cut. Granted Paul Ryan's plan isn't enough but he and Rand Paul i'd say really got the conversation going so hopefully they will continue to push for more cuts even if both of their plans are adopted.
we need to eliminate and criminalize deficit spending, and cut 75% of the rest till all debt is paid off, and cut more if necessary, that is the only rational thing we can do to save America. Anything else is collective treason/suicide.
Face the facts: the trillions in debt are not gonna be cut. USA will face the same economic fate as the USSR for the same reason (unsustainable empire). Of course, in the USSR the economy was much more f-u-c-k-e-d, but no economy can support unlimited spending. So I'm being smart here and learning Chinese. It's gonna be important to know Chinese in the following 2 centuries or so...
The EU instructed the government to ensure no bank failed.
As a result the entire state pension fund has disappeared mostly into bank-creditor pockets & the National Debt has mushroomed, (mushrooms on steroids).
Bank Creditors have been bailed out whilst govt workers have had typical pay-cuts of 20%. New taxes have been introduced, more are promised & many thousands are jobless.
The economy is sacrificed to bail-out the wealthy.
Everyone outside of America realizes that until the military budget is drastically reduced, the U.S. will never get their deficit taken care of. The U.S. spends more on their military than the 27 next highest spending countries combined, and 26 of those countries are U.S. allies. Does the U.S. really need bases in Germany, Japan, and hundreds of other bases outside the U.S.?
I believe very much in Planned Parenthood and would support any attempt to strengthen short of government intervention and the kind of lobbyist funding health care money throws the Democrats propose. I think this budget fight shows true colors because all it has become is a side show distraction of name calling and mudslinging over tired classic Neo-Con and Liberal issues.
The Ryan proposal is'nt enough, but it's a decent start. To really fix the problem we'll need a fiscal tough guy in the White House which is why 2012 is so crucial. We need to elect somebody who's going to be hated by both Nancy Pelosi and Lindsey Graham or Sean Hannity and Harry Reid. If the next republican president pisses them all off we've got something. So far only the Paul--father and son fit that criterior.
@TheTruthHurts732 It's not a bandaid, but 6 trillion bandaids. Six trillion dollars may not be enough, but nothing with the word trillion in it can possibly be called inconsequential.
First of all, it's a 6 trillion dollar cut over 10 years. It's a spending cut, not a deficit cut. The 14 trillion dollar deficit will increase to over 20 trillion, by the time the 10 years is through. So yes, I'd say that's inconsequential.
@TheTruthHurts732 Yes,I know that it's over a decade which is why I called it a start, but to call it inconsequential is to susgest that the budget would be better with the 6 trillion still in the hands of the federal government. I can't believe that you mean that. But,yes we need to do more, but more will not happen without a change in the White House and the Senate. Also it would'nt hurt for the Tea Party to put the fear of God in the GOP leadership. They need to fear for their jobs.
We don't have a strong national defense we have a murdering, stealing, drug protecting (troops guarding poppy fields in Afghanistan) offensive military. BTW the debt was discharged in 1999, the last of the third round of 70 years for a national bankruptcy.
the one concern I see in the up coming presidential election is that ron paul, who is a arbiter for modern conservatives and libertarians alike. Would he be bogged down in all the red tape on cutting spending and the debt? The problem with him is that he is a to good of a candidate. The hammer that he promises to bring to Washington, I feel would be softened and neutralized by other politicians. Do you think that any of the Paul family would be swallowed up by the behemoth of the fed?
The USA grew by 100 million in last 40 years, nearly all via immigration, and is on track to reach a half a billion in a few decades via immigration. So much for small governmemt. The Government has a war on the american worker. California, thanks to massive immigration, now ranks 49th, ahead of only Mississipi in the number of adults without a high school aducation. This is Americas future if we do nothing. Join Numbersusa and vote out all anti american worker washington weasels
Jack, I'm glad you addressed the Paul Ryan's budget proposal. But please note that Libya is located in Africa and is considered to be a Mediterranean country.
As nice as a balanced budget would be, we have to accept that a US Government default and/or hyper inflation by means of monetizing the debt is the only realistic outcome of the future of what will be called "The land once called the United States"
@Mauhadeeb28 38 billion is nothing. But what do you expect, the Democrats only wanted to cut 4 billion. No Democrat or Obama would approve of anything over 40 billion if they think 60 billion is extreme and radical. Also, we are not double the debt to GDP. They are both about the same. Both at about 15 trillion.
@Willredd94 Republicans didn't propose anything fantastic either buddy. This is a two horse show, and both the mainstream Democrats and the mainstream Republicans are sinking this country.
The only way we'll solve our fiscal problems is if Americans as a whole redefine government.
@rangergxi I'd say the American people are too accustomed to a government that tries to do everything.
Lyndon Johnson's "Great Society" was a noble effort, but misguided. If you want the government to wipe your ass, go to Europe and pay for it in taxes.
@bajoverga I almost feel like this doesn't deserve a response.
Taxes and redistribution of wealth occur under any form of government. We can sit and postulate the ethical wrongs of a staggered tax, or we can deal with reality.
the truth is..................THIS ADMINISTRATION HAS DECLARED WAR ON THE MILITARY

MooseOfReason 10 months ago
The Ryan proposal is'nt enough, but it's a decent start. To really fix the problem we'll need a fiscal tough guy in the White House which is why 2012 is so crucial. We need to elect somebody who's going to be hated by both Nancy Pelosi and Lindsey Graham or Sean Hannity and Harry Reid. If the next republican president pisses them all off we've got something. So far only the Paul--father and son fit that criterior.
sleedolfine15 10 months ago
@sleedolfine15
The Ryan proposal is equivalent to a placing a band-aid on a lacerated jugular vein, it's inconsequential.
TheTruthHurts732 10 months ago
@TheTruthHurts732 It's not a bandaid, but 6 trillion bandaids. Six trillion dollars may not be enough, but nothing with the word trillion in it can possibly be called inconsequential.
sleedolfine15 10 months ago
@sleedolfine15
First of all, it's a 6 trillion dollar cut over 10 years. It's a spending cut, not a deficit cut. The 14 trillion dollar deficit will increase to over 20 trillion, by the time the 10 years is through. So yes, I'd say that's inconsequential.
TheTruthHurts732 10 months ago

Hey S.A
the one concern I see in the up coming presidential election is that ron paul, who is a arbiter for modern conservatives and libertarians alike. Would he be bogged down in all the red tape on cutting spending and the debt? The problem with him is that he is a to good of a candidate. The hammer that he promises to bring to Washington, I feel would be softened and neutralized by other politicians. Do you think that any of the Paul family would be swallowed up by the behemoth of the fed?
hartshornguy 10 months ago
@hartshornguy - It will take an army of Pauls to fix this problem. We're toast.

As nice as a balanced budget would be, we have to accept that a US Government default and/or hyper inflation by means of monetizing the debt is the only realistic outcome of the future of what will be called "The land once called the United States"

38 billion is nothing. not when we are double the debt to GDP.
Mauhadeeb28 10 months ago
@Mauhadeeb28 38 billion is nothing. But what do you expect, the Democrats only wanted to cut 4 billion. No Democrat or Obama would approve of anything over 40 billion if they think 60 billion is extreme and radical. Also, we are not double the debt to GDP. They are both about the same. Both at about 15 trillion.
Willredd94 10 months ago
@Willredd94 Republicans didn't propose anything fantastic either buddy. This is a two horse show, and both the mainstream Democrats and the mainstream Republicans are sinking this country.
The only way we'll solve our fiscal problems is if Americans as a whole redefine government.

@RJhasFLOW The people are to fat, happy or stupid
rangergxi 10 months ago
@rangergxi I'd say the American people are too accustomed to a government that tries to do everything.
Lyndon Johnson's "Great Society" was a noble effort, but misguided. If you want the government to wipe your ass, go to Europe and pay for it in taxes.
RJhasFLOW 10 months ago
@RJhasFLOW It's noble to steal from one person to give to another with the use of a gun?
bajoverga 10 months ago
@bajoverga I almost feel like this doesn't deserve a response.
Taxes and redistribution of wealth occur under any form of government. We can sit and postulate the ethical wrongs of a staggered tax, or we can deal with reality.
I move for the latter.
RJhasFLOW 10 months ago
@Willredd94 I meant assets to liabilities.
