Champions = major dissapointment for me.

You want a good Super Hero MMO, go CoX (City of heroes/Villains) It may not be brand new, but it kicks butt any day =)

I would like some charecter ideas for when it comes out on the 360! Looks awesome but now there is delays for the 360 as MS is greedy! 360 would be getting it when the computer comes out but MS wants more money from montly fees. Becase it by passes the gold memebership, MS needs to get it together and give us what we want! Stupid if you ask me for MS to do this to us!

The game isn't based on being realistic. It's a Fantasy / SciFi game. What makes you think anything will be realistic?

Ever since I learned that they're NOT going to port in the Hero System, I completely lost interest in this upcoming game. It's not gonna be any more customizable than COH/COV, and will be a colossal dissapointment to anyone who actually played the original Champions RPG.

I played the beta and hated it. It is definitely not going to be what people are expecting. The customization is, in fact, limited. The power system needs a LOT of work. There isn't even a way to unsummon your pets. You click your pet summon skill once to summon them, again to upgrade them, again to take away the upgrade, then again to upgrade again.... lol So when one dies, there is no way to resummon it. You have to wait until all of them die.

I was really hoping this would be a good game...

From what I've seen, the "customization" is going to be "You can shoot any color laser beams you want...but they're still just like everyone else's laser beams" instead of the sort of modifiers/linking you could do in Champions, like adding a "blind" effect to a laser, or a paralysis effect, or increasing it's range, or making it an explosion, or....

Yeah, that's why they moved the release date back to September and it's STILL IN BETA!!

@Kendo506 ??? I can unsommon it at anytime, and this is a GREAT game! Depends on taste. And the fact that I still loves superheroes, also because iam a professional writer/author and artists, I love to see my superhero characters come to live ;-D And the fact that it is one of the only superhero MMORPG or just games, makes it even better! I heard that CoX (City of Heroes/City of Villians) were great games, but the effects and graphics in CO is better, but the explosions ofCars etc CoX is better.

So...I somehow doubt that the full range of customization possible in Champions will be available...will I be able to make, for example, "Autofire Extra limb, with usable against others at range" to turn my target into an octopus?
