anna died in a car accident and her kidney was donated to kate anyway but in the movie kate dies.

after Anna wins her case, her lawyer drives her in the rain.. car accident... her father is the one to respond and finds out the girl dead in the car is Anna... then Anna's kidney is then donated to Kate which saves Kate's life.

In my opinion, the book had a much better ending... it in no way was predictable and makes you think about a person's purpose on earth.

Maybe some of us are only here to help others.

They also eliminated an entire character who I think was very important to the story.

Jodi Picoult is absolutely amazing. I've read this book 3 times over now - something I never do.

Each and everytime I read it over i feel myself tearing up at the same parts.

I look forward to the movie but then again I don't. I'd hate it if they were to mess this book up like how they did with the Harry Potter series. I heard Cameron Diaz will play the role of Anna's mother? I wonder if she'll even fit the role. I hope she does.
