Not necessarily, it depends on what you are trying to do. If you want to free form your FP - into a bead or one of my Lizzie Dolls for instance, then no container is necessary. Neither is it necessary if you want to soften all your scraps, or melt FP pellets.
If you want to hold your FP flat ready for stamping or when joining pieces, then use some aluminium foil under your plastic to make it easy to lift in and out of the water.
Hello I was just wondering, with the hot water heating method are you supposed to keep the plastic in something when it's put in the water? I would be interested in trying the hot water method, but I'm not sure how I would need to do it? Thanks.
