I found the Malcom's Interview album in a second hand store and after listening quickly did research and bought the God's Little Monkeys CDs online. They rock! Tell your bro his band was awesome. Songwriting is great and I love the interplay of his and Jo's vocals. There is next to no info online, though. You/your bro should make a MySpace page for the band or something.
Although it pretty much changes the original's style, also this remix is a very good piece of music; thanks a lot for that!
It's such a shame that 'God's little Monkeys' are so little known (at least here on the continent) because I really do love their music; both melodies and lyrics. (My favorite is 'Gastown' because Jo Swiss sounds so incredibly fresh and powerful especially in this song.)
- What happened to this marvellous band? Will there ever be a chance to see them on stage again??
Excellant! It has a real urban underground feel to it, so great to see these songs brought out, dusted off and played again. We were too young the first time to really appreciate this stuff, but listening to them now I definelty would give my right arm to see them play live again!!
P.S..Jon is the bomb in that leather jacket! for sure :D

unfortunately they have split for good. Jon is still writing and recording in America & Jo is in a jazz band I think in York.
