I got a 14 lb bug off San Nick on Oct 15th ..Another guy on board got a 16 lb one...Crazy why San Nick always harbors the monsters......Both males though so we kept them...Were yours male or female?

@disiscrazymon1 Those are craz big bugs you guys got. I have never seen a bug bigger than 12 pounds on a digital scale, but I know the biggest bug all-time is around 16 lbs. All my big ones have been males. I don't think females can get over 10 lbs. Nick does not produce lots of lobster anymore, but the ones there are big. I caught a 7 and 9 lber on one dive there and was stoked. Thanks for sharing!

This is an excellent trip boys and girls! Nice sized bugs. I need to take a trip to the channel islands!!!
