Check out Agnetha hitting a few notes on the piano just before the elbow from Frida. That's what this is really about. Just having fun. Bjorn watches as if he was expecting the whole thing. Benny really laughs. They probably had to do something like this to keep boredom away during endless performances.
Obviously staged. If one ignores the idiotic commentary and studies the action it is apparent: during the instrumental interlude Agnetha, Frida and Bjorn have heads together. Frida "makes contact" with Bjorn long before Agnetha does anything, which greatly amuses Benny. Something is making them all laugh before the split second nudge and exagerated frown from Frida. Both nudge and frown would have been totally different if this were real. All four were having fun, any other reading is absurd.
Frida was NOT having a good time. She looks pissed through the entire thing, forcing a smile. Guess you can't be "on" all the time. Which is funny because she is usually so poised.
Agnetha was of course better looking and probably a better singer too, but Frida had a wonderfully playful stage presence that the other three and especially Agnetha lacked. In many of their best videos you can see Frida teasing her and loosening her up, I'm sure that's what happened here.

I have been married 20+ years so I am pretty good at interpreting "womanese". Frida's look is the real deal. The issue is because Agnetha stops lip-synching to converse with Benny, and Frida elbows her to get her back into the routine.

Agnetha is pretty, but Frida had more talent and commitment to her fans. Agnetha is the one who refused to attend the ABBA reunions. I think that Frida, in this clip, was actually more angry at Agnetha blocking her shot again than anything else. So diva.

As a musician, in my opinion, maybe Agnetha's voice fitted better to the kind of songs this group made, but if you listen carefully, Frida has a deeper, more emotive voice; just listen to the songs she leads, eg "Our last summer".

Oh, God, how we got misunderstood. NOBODY IS PERFECT IN THE FIRST PLACE, EVEN AGNETHA. Secondly, me & my buddies, poor geeks, down there in the Bulgarian Army spend the nights quarrelling as to who's hotter - Agnetha or Anna-Frida and despite the waterfalls of beer the debtae never got resolved. So no prejudicem for the then global icons, we loved you indiscriminately, and when it all eneded, we kind of felt.....left out there in the cold

Benny really laughs. They probably had to do something like this to keep boredom away during endless performances.

Obviously staged. If one ignores the idiotic commentary and studies the action it is apparent: during the instrumental interlude Agnetha, Frida and Bjorn have heads together. Frida "makes contact" with Bjorn long before Agnetha does anything, which greatly amuses Benny. Something is making them all laugh before the split second nudge and exagerated frown from Frida. Both nudge and frown would have been totally different if this were real. All four were having fun, any other reading is absurd.

Agnetha was of course better looking and probably a better singer too, but Frida had a wonderfully playful stage presence that the other three and especially Agnetha lacked. In many of their best videos you can see Frida teasing her and loosening her up, I'm sure that's what happened here.

Well, to the rest of the world Agnetha might have been so much more "exotic" and "beautiful" due to the -blond and the blue eyes and the cute bum and all that..lol..In Scandinavia we are so used to all that though with every two girls looking like that on the streets..
