  • anyway bible is wrong earth is 12000 years old ha haaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • Wow, the History Channel is pathetic. Here is an interesting archeological finding and all they can manage is comapring it with the Bible's nonsense. Sheesh.

  • @MrCropper I'm suprised they didn't mention Ancient Aliens

  • @MrCropper Yeah the History Channel is stuck on Ancient Aliens. This is rare for them to use the Bible and who cares if they do.

  • @MrCropper I think they're pathetic for not noting the world is 157 years old. 12000 years ago does not exist, because in the Epsilon religion, the world is only 157 years old, and it does not age.

  • @MrCropper Who else have metioned just anything about this place except of Historychannel ? The whole program is just speculations,,,,not statements. Dont worry to much about it :)

  • @MrCropper

You need to stay open minded, and look at the bible as a collection of stories and as a very creative history book. For example, the Tower of Babel was based on the ancient Mesopotamian step-pyramids. However, they gave the Tower of Babel a religious meaning. So if you sift through the religious stories, you will find that the Bible is actually an interesting history book with some exaggerations.

  • @speakdino10 "the Bible is actually an interesting history book with some exaggerations."

Put a little more emphasis on "exaggerations" and I'll agree. Try this: "the Bible is actually an interesting history book with some _supernatural_ exaggerations which only the primitive-minded or utterly credulous could entertain." There, much more true.

  • @MrCropper

Lol I assume you're atheist? Well I'm Jehovah's Witness, but even I can admit that yes, there are exaggerations given to things that were inexplicable at the time. However, I wasn't kidding when I said to keep your mind open. Don't reject the bible's stories because you don't believe in religion. Those stories give insight to the cultures, habits, and behaviors of the peoples back then, minus godly intervention and other things.

  • @MrCropper

What ever you want to call it, I won't lose any sleep at night. But don't slam the History Channel, because the Bible is one of the oldest history books in existence. Yes, it has been tampered with by many people who sought power by using the bible's "word," and the bible is primarily meant to worship, but be the educated man I know you are and read between the lines. There is much to learn.
