Maybe that's why Anderson worked well with Cleverly, he is usually able to win the ball back...and Cleverly, well...Cleverly does what he does best.

@102293 well, actually I think you can. You dont need a huge yard to practice that move, I have tried myself and it works; but an actual pitch is the best option. You can have somebody throw the ball at you, and then try to redirect the ball with your chest to the desired location. Hope that helps.

Scholes for me has always been the only one who made ManUtd's football, which I do not like at all, beautiful. By beautiful I mean spontanous and refer to football as a team game, I don't mean spectacular individual actions, like, say, some goals by Ronaldo or crosses by Beckham or whatever. But football as a beautiful game for over 90 min. That's what I experience when watching Dutch, South American or Barcelona-football, and Scholes is in their mould, Gerrard or Lampard aren't.
