I remember back when I was a teenager seeing them in concert with a few of my friends at the toledo sports arena.Wow those were the days.Love that old stuff.
we would play this song in the tunnel walking to Smith Point beach (LI) back in the '80's and it would echo.. realy neat!! brings me back there when I hear this..good times..:0)
If you like '80's Glam bands all you need to do is look in Europe. Bands like Crashdiet , Reckless Love and Vains of Jenna. Well maybe Vains they relocated to Cali and now have an American singer and their last album doesn't sound very Metal.
jeff kieth one of the best vocalists...frankie hannon hands down one of the most under rated guitarists of the 80s even though hes better than most of them
Brings back memories. I got to see them in about 91 with Firehouse. I was 14 and got to see my first set of random boobs, then another 30 or 40 nice pair the same night.

Yeah they don't make music like this anymore goin off what 10cavs said, like nobody truly listens to just old stuff anymore, I'm 17 and I only listen to bands formed before 1990. I used to have lots of friends that thought like me but i have watched them one by one convert at least partially to new age music.
I have seen Tesla twice! The one thing I can say about this band is that what you hear on their albums, they sound even better live! Got to love a band who can rock always! Still love this song!!!!!!
seen these guys in TX, FLA, OH. many times over and they sound just like the album live. not many bands can achieve that level of greatness. Tesla has always gave me more than my moneys worth. \m/
but one thing i missed out on was the good times people always talk about that they had in the 60's 70's and 80's. when i was born in 90, everything changed like what the fuck...why when im born?
10cavsfan... Ya know, it's always really cool when someone your age appreciates GREAT music. I couldn't agree more with you about music from the 90's on. There are a few exceptions, but not many! Rock on kid! You must have some awesome parents too! ")
for real and jerks who dont agree need to buzz the fuck off to some bullshit crap they like to listen to we dont give a damn about there stinkin' ass opinions any damn way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! go the fuck away whine to some who cares!!!! cuz it aint us ps dont hate us cuz u aint us!!!!!!!!!!
@10cavsfan soooooooooooooooooo fuckin true. i was born in 90 too and i hope the music/pop culture/everything reflects how we feel about that stuff considering people in our generation are getting just old enough to be popular musicians and stuff
You can't look at it like that, man. You can enjoy the older music of your choice but there's alot of good going on right now, too. U'll see. Be patient. :)
teslajunkie i was born in 1990, but it didnt take long to realize the 80's music is the best music created, ill be stuck in the 80's with you as well when i die
DUDE I HAVE THE SAME SHIRT THAT FRANKS WEARING....... i have to say Dave Rude is a much better guitar player than Tommy was but thats just my opinion....But they were, still are, and always will be the best band on the face of this earth
@67roadhugger I have to disagree about Rude. Tommy could play his ass off when he wasn't high. As far as the best band on the face of the earth, that is a FACT.
I hear ya.. I'll be stuck in the 80's when I'm 90! Not that I'll live that long! HA... I wish music was like it was then... wait, we had music then, not so much now.
me too. thats how i keep track of everyone or where they are now. i miss jake e lee. BADLANDS was another group that i like. ray gillen that dude can sing
@teslajunkie This was the first concert I went to without my parents. It was October 3, 1987. They opened for Def Leppard in Lake Placid. I remember the date because I also got my first speeding ticket that night. can't believe I am am going to be 41 this year. Damn, I miss this music!
@Sean71570 I'll be 40 in June so I feel ya for sure!! Memory isn't failing ya if you still remember that ticket, lol. No telling when I got my first one. Tesla will always rock my world. I'm a brat from the 80's scene too and won't ever stop rockin those tunes. Have a great weekend!!
@teslajunkie yea it sucks that people in my generation dont have actual music to listen to, they have rap and hip hop to listen to, which is not music i wish i was like my age in the 70's so i could be an adult in the 80's!
They sound good, I just think this camera's mic wasn't made to pick up loud audio. Plus they were a little to the side. I saw them a couple of months ago and it was spot on. His voice actually sounded better live.
Always my favorite tune since the City Kid days at the Oasis! Hey, I was only 16 when I first saw you guys and it was killer! No Tommy? Troy? The three of you could play anywhere, anytime and it would f**king rock!
JK sounds really good here. This must be an old concert. Aas far as JK wardrobe, you have to remember JK is just a CDL truck driver looking cool in his own world.
One of my very favorite bands of all time. Love how they tie in th theme of Nikola Tesla into their album names and many of their pieces of music. Awesome!
Great song and good filming Tracey. I miss Tommy so much, just not the same man. This song is so bad ass, Jk is so beautiful on stage, well and off stage, ha.
I seen them on this tour at the Bronco Bowl in Dallas Texas.....They are Awsome...Going to see them in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina feb.21....cant wait!!
I was at the infamous 'break-up' show here in Detroit back in 2000 at a place called "TheRitz". They came out with only 4 members of the band. Jeff Keith was visually upset. So much so he even told the crowd that anyone who wanted could be refunded their ticket for that night. I don't think one person did. They'd rip into a song and then half way through it theyd stop. The crowd knew what was up minus a band member but so what and cheered them even louder.
Don't see Tommy Skeotch in there - I miss his guitar and the extra dynamic it brought to the band's sound. I know he had some substance issues then had a child. I hope he and his family is doing well.
I love it how the guitar player is wearing his own band's shirt to play in.

squabs217 3 years ago
That WAS Hannon. Tommy Skoech went through a period of drug abuse when he wasn't a part of Tesla.

Tesla as a 4 piece group?

Talk about a sad moment in time.... this certainly was.

That's cool that you were there, cool story. Sad story. Glad everyone was cheering them on still though. TESLA ROCKS!!

This whole album's like a killer chunk of my life back in 87'. Soundtrack to highschool. Still great!

Don't see Tommy Skeotch in there - I miss his guitar and the extra dynamic it brought to the band's sound. I know he had some substance issues then had a child. I hope he and his family is doing well.
