Basically, this is how I understand it...
There were two possible options: 1) pay $33 for dinner and a vote, or 2) come after the dinner and pay $5 to vote. Apparently, after the dinner a large amount of Ron Paul supporters came with $5 and their vote but, since she was apparently a Fred Thompson supporter, she decided to only allow those who paid $33 to vote and refund the $5.

I know you think TV is entertaining to at least some degree, but it's purile entertainment. It's HARD to turn off your TV, and it takes MONTHS not to miss it.
I see a TV on in a bar and it's like I'm getting a crack fix for the first time in months, but I have a real substantive life because I got rid of my TV 15 years ago.
I'm not saying it's easy, but it IS addictive and VERY bad for you.

December 4, 2007. I received an automated telephone poll call for Republican primary candidates. Ron Paul's name was missing, so I pressed 6, for "other." When I pressed 6, it responded as though I had hit 7 and removed me from the list. I KNOW I HIT 6 because I was looking right at the number and made darned sure I did. Basically, this is how I understand it...
There were two possible options: 1) pay $33 for dinner and a vote, or 2) come after the dinner and pay $5 to vote. Apparently, after the dinner a large amount of Ron Paul supporters came with $5 and their vote but, since she was apparently a Fred Thompson supporter, she decided to only allow those who paid $33 to vote and refund the $5.
