  • Mhmm, it has to b sergical steel or titanium.

  • I have 7 of my pierceings done with a safty pin, it's not that bad to use them. You just can't leave it in.

  • Yeah, it gets easier once the outter layer is penatrated. Jus gotta b as quick as possible.

  • Just did mine.

When the piercing needle first penetrates through the outer layer of the skin, its gonna sting. After that its pretty stable, smaller pain. so if you can start it, you can end it too

  • Lucyrules1...piercing needles r available at tattoo shops n haybee87..wait til ur a lil older ur body is still slightly young yet n has a chance of rejecting easier. Lucyrules1..they do hurt a little if done by a pro n the cost depends on where u get it, an average of $35-$45 for a decent place.

  • Where can u get a pericing needle

  • Does it Hurt to get a belly pericing and how much does if cost to get one someone PLZZ help me someone help

  • umm i need your help im 13 and i want a belly ring but my mom wont let me i wamt to do it myself and i i wanted it for years now but im scared what sjould i do?

  • Dude u loveeeeee ur hair

  • @MrSlash9955 me 2

  • i used a sweing machine needle for mine tht i did...i was jus sayin it recommended to use a piercing needle but if u cant get one, then use what u have...

  • I used a super big safety pin to do my cartilage and the second piercing on both my ears. I also did this to 2 of my friends and did a different friends with a safety pin... So go ahead be ghetto use a safety pin it wont kill you . Oh and none of us had any infections soo!!! suck it

  • Yes, but u can avoid a great deal of pain by making a swift motion n not doin it slowly. what hurts is getting it thru the skin, once u do tht, the pain should b ova. ive pierced my nose, ears, n both top & bottom of my bellybutton. It hurt but i did it as fast as i could. If n e one has n e more questions feel free to comment or send me a message n ill answer. (: ive done tons of research n my bestfriends sisters friend is a pro piercer.

  • doesn't it hurt if you just poke it through?

  • It all depends on the place you go, id say bout $20-$25 for a pro, n kinda...u'll b able to c a lil hole if u pay close attention to it. R ur parents not going to take u to get ur nose done?

  • How much is a professional? Cuz I'm sorta freaked out about how you can die and stuff... Oh I want to pierce my nostril, and I'm underage. So, does it show when you take out the stud from your nose?

  • Piercing needles r recommended bcuz u will get the rite size gauge n its less painful. N im not sure if u can use orajel but ik ice is a big no no bcuz it hardens the skin makin it tighter (harder) n more painful to do...i would research bout tht.

  • if you get a lip piercing can you use orajel to numb it lol

  • can you just use a regualr needle.?

  • Okay, when u have a piercing u did urself or got done professionally NEVER take it out if its hurting or infected b/c u can actually get the infection inside the piercin & inside ur body, if ur piercing is rly botherin you u should go to a doctor & have them look at it other wise u could get urself into a big mess n u can get a bad scar. Ive done tons of piercings on myself n the only got a lil sore n now they r healthy n happy. If u have questions jus send me a message. N shes rite, research!

  • But I'm underage, and no one will sell me a hollow needle D:

  • She's Pretty. . .

  • was your eye brow bleeding

  • how could i pierce my own monroe?

  • my friend pierced her own nose with a thumbtack ... she's not dead yet. lmao

  • My mum said no to a nose piercing, so I'm going to do it when I'm round a friends house. >:D

  • @EllaRuby44 Good luck! my dad said No to my 2nd earlobe piercing, so I'm gonna do it myself :D

  • @vanillateabear Good luck to you too then! I already have my ears pierced three times. ^.^

  • you're so pretty! I LOVE your style! I always wanted my hair like that

  • lol

  • thx now all i have to do is convince m parents to let me

  • @ThehungerGames64 i know i want a nose piercing and my mom said not till im eighteen!!! thats in like what another 5 years!

  • How to safely self-pierce:

    1. Save your money.

    2. GO TO A PROFESSIONAL!

If you self pierce and you get an infection, it's your own damn dumb fault.

  • How to Self Pierce Safely: you don't.

  • How to self-pierce safely. Step 1: Don't do it. Step 2: Go to a professional.

  • There is no such thing as self-piercing safely. That is an oxymoron.

  • u should NOT CLEAN A NEEDLE WITH FIRE. everytime you burn the needle to steralize it, it dulls bty 12%. if u use an actual profetional piercing needle and burn it to clean it... it will dull the point alot and it will HURT like a mofo. HOW TO STERALIZE........ UUUUU dont steralize the piercing needle. u should buy it from the store already steralized and dont touch it or take it outa the packaging untill you are ready to use it..... with steralized latex gloves on.

  • I am thinking of piercing my own tongue web by myself, any advice or experience? Would really help :) (will make a video on it, so suuub) :D

  • U remind me of Christina Grimmie xD

  • U remind me of Christina Grimmie xD

  • 79 people were to pussy to do this at home ...

  • HOTT

  • :D

  • if u take off ur piercing stone or watever is it noticible?

  • I really want a navel and lip piercing but I'm afraid it might get in the way with the sport(competitive swimming) im playing. I'm not even sure if you're allowed to get you lip pierced for swimming. How long does the pain and sore last for the navel?

  • I used a Saftey Pin to pierce my ear..Yes I tottally agree with her! it hurts like living Hell!!

  • love ur hair<3 go scene!!!

  • your creppy........

  • I pierced my cartilage at church camp with a sewing needle and it turned out perfect.

I took care of it thought, so maybe that's why.

  • I used a sewing needle to pierce my cartilage and it took 3 times to get it all the way through. It sucked!

  • I used a safety pin 2 pierce my ear lobe.. It didn't take a long time 4 me.

And it's not stupid 2 use it -.-

Pierced mines yesterday by myself :D

  • omg that would hurt! an impossible crier i know cried and screamed!!!

  • No, this is wrong hun. :] Good try, Self-piercing, no matter how clean it is, is not safe!!

  • @hamandbaloni

actually Sweety My aunt's a piercing artist

She Said Although It's Not a good idea To pierce at home

This is the safest Way i Showed Her the video :)

Please learn The fact's! Before being rude On somebody else's Video's :DD

    Merry Christmas :) God blesss

  • @xkellyxx95 I'm also a piercing artist. Does your aunt work in the bronx or something? :DD God bless<3

  • @hamandbaloni

    You're Like 13 lOl

& Nope No where near The Bronx

We actually Live In California :)

She also Does tattoos She Went to college and Has Been Tattooing/Piercing For 14 Years Now :)

  • @xkellyxx95 Lmao! This is my cousins account dear, I've been tattooing/piercing for about 15 years now. I went to college, and got a master's degree.

  • I just got pierced and my pierced said to use achol

  • Piercing yourself maybe isn't the best idea, but it can always go wrong, even if you get it done by a profesional. It all depends on how your body reacts to it.

  • you didnt even pierce it...

  • Also,my septum came out perfectly straight, and the placement was perfect (went right through the "sweet spot"!) as well :) I've also self pierced both of my lobes, and the left side of my bottom lip (which,I did when I was a bit younger, and the placement was off,so I ended up taking it out -_-)

  • Lmao at some of the comments below. I used an 18g sewing needle to self pierce my septum, which is healing very nicely. In fact, the whole piercing experience went very smoothly,it didn't bleed nor swell at all.I do sea salt soaks and clean it with saline solution regularly.I agree with you completely. You CAN pierce at home, but it requires extensive knowledge of anatomy and your body's healing capabilities,as well as MUCH beforehand planning and research about the particular piercing you plan on d

  • im about to do my nose in just minutes :) , im so excited

  • You can buy professional and appropriate piercing supplies from off the internet. If you get an infection from piercing while using these items then you can get an infection all the same by going to a professional piercer. What is most important is to take good care of it after it has been pierced, regardless of wether it has been done by a professional or at home.

  • PLEASE anyone who reads this, don't self-pierce. You CAN DIE from the infection that results over half the time from unsanitary conditions. You CANNOT sterilize the needles properly because you're not using an autoclave, PLUS you need HOLLOW NEEDLES that punch a hole rather than TEAR YOUR FLESH!

Either save up and pay a pro, or go without. You pierce at home, it's going to be crooked, get infected, reject or all of the above. PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GAWD JUST STOP THIS!

  • what does it mean when it starts to reject?

  • @04joyski comes out

  • Can you pierce your belly button with a sewinq needle.?

  • @0709bumblebee i imagine it'll hurt like fuck, i've tried xD

  • I am a professional Piercer..and there is no way to safely pierce your self... 1. your bathroom isn't as clean as you think it is 2. you don't own a autoclave 3. you don't know anatomy that well 4 Mrsa is everywhere..these videos piss me off my comment will most likely get deleted but its the truth the promoting of these videos is asinine...

  • @jrob666 if you're a professional piercer, why are you watching a tutorial of how to pierce? o.o

  • Where did you get your piercing needle? (:

  • I've pierced my ears myself before, and my boyfriends ears.

    And mine are completely healed.

He let's his close up though lol c:

  • .awfulmodifications on tumblr <---go!

  • @wobbsmonster yes!

  • @wobbsmonster best site evah! ;D

  • If you are actually considering using this girls advice you shouldn't be getting a piercing at all. Piercing yourself unless your a professional piercer is a very stupid idea. not only can you get keloids and infections but the piercing can reject.

  • @asdfghjkl91349 no matter who does the piercing u can get keloids and it can reject... its all about keeping it clean...

  • @asdfghjkl91349 you realize that she is probly giving the best info than other people...some people just tell you to have a safety pin and fire....so at least she is saying to look up where your nerves are and are telling people to use a real needle....shes not stupid...and you can get keloids or get infections or rejected piercings even if you get professionally done

  • @asdfghjkl91349 that shit happens even if you get it professionally done

  • @asdfghjkl91349 well my friends that pierce themselves have never had problems... and most of my friends that go to pros get infections... xD ahh, idk what to do!

  • @asdfghjkl91349 Piercing is a very simple concept lol. IDK why its so complicated. And no shit an open wound has a chance of infection.. That's what peroxide is for.

  • @DrTon420 You OBVIOUSLY don't use peroxide because that kills the bacteria that helps HEAL the open wound. your OBVIOUSLY stupid.

  • @HunterAlexMarie I'm not stupid, just don't know too much about piercing's and wounds which was why I even watched this video lol. I was told to use peroxide at first for like a day then when the healing began I had to use saline solution... This was for my eyebrow though.

  • i can't believe people are actually asking for piercing advice here.

  • Man, all of us should favorite this girl. You're a smart chick.

  • Okay.. me and my friend we want our bellybuttons done.. what do you clean it with after you pierce it?

  • @SexyComedian25 Go to a professional. They can tell you more than this girl can.

  • why do u need TWO belly button piercings... it just looks odd to me

  • did she mean hot topic

  • 3:05 Awkwaaaard!

  • Love the vid!!(:, me and my best friend are planning to get our bellybuttons pierced and shes getting a nose piercing

  • i pierced my nose with a safety pin n it twas easy! =)

  • why two belly piercings? O.O jw

  • I'm 12 and I know this all, when I used to cut myself I even steralized tht (stress on USED TO) I was trying 2 pierce my nose today with a sewing needle tho, it would NOT go through! I wonder if you could sharpen it, anyways. I'm not allowed to pierce my nose, but I'm going 2 be smart withit. My mom did it when she was 16 and she was a stupid ass pothead and it got infected cuz she didn't give a shit. to clean, i'd probob use the stuff they give u when u get yur ears done,i got mine lst yr......

  • cute scene hair

  • I pierced my septum twice. Once with a sewing needle and once with a safety pin, first time I used the sewing needle and it was fine. Second time, I used the safety pin, again it was fine. I'm planning to do my nostrils soon and I'll probably use a sewing needle. Septum is fine, it's pierced correctly - in the right place and healed. I'm not an expert but neither are you, the experts are the professionals. I'd recommend anyone to go and get their piercings done professionally, safer and easier.

  • Lol your pretty but you look like ni hao kai lan

  • How to self pierce safely: DON'T!

  • Using a lighter will "sterilize" jack shit. The only way to sterilize something is through autoclave. Please please please go to a professional it's 100% worth it.

  • very useful your vid but they's one problem

i asked a professional and he told me never to burn a needle with a lighter because it can deforme the tip and after it'll be very painful

otherwise, i'd say they is no big risks taken if you sanitize your needles and piercings before doing it :)

  • actually you can die from piercing yourself if you leave it go infected long enough depending where it is. but they do take it to an extreme when it comes to self piercing. you shouldn't do it, but you can do it safely. i've pierced myself before and i'm perfect fine. but what she is talking about when it comes to piercing yourself is true.. depending where it is.

  • Wow there is NO safe way to stab and self mutilate your body people....just suck it up and go get a pro to do it so u don't hurt urself more

  • Comment removed

  • also, my friend pierced my nose at home with an ear piercing kit, and six months later it is "healthy and happy" as she said. as long as you take the proper precautions and follow aftercare instructions, you'll most likely be fine. thanks for the video.

  • Yer pretty c:

  • you're actually very wrong about taking it out when infected. That can make the issue 100x worse. Read about it.

  • ok i have a q at bath and body works they have scented sanitizers can u use those to sterilize

  • @sheenababes1

    is that a serious question?

    i really hope not.

  • @sheenababes1 no? why would you even do that?

  • safety pin... yeah i learned that the hard way lol

  • your face at like 3:22 is so great :p

  • I want to pierce my helix, can I use a sewing needle for that? I know how to sterilize it everything.

  • ur cute ^o^

  • You talk to much

  • @minimi862 it's a how to video, she's suppost to talk a lot

  • shes hot xD

  • oh my god! shes so hot! xD

  • yeah i remember making the mistake of cleaning my piercing with rubbing alcohal, messed up my piercing and had to take it out and wait a while to repierce it.

  • ur cute. would love to toke with you haha.

  • i like this a lot

  • How about just put your ear lobe on a 2x4 and put a nail through it. Very easy and no pain involved!

  • Piercing yourself is fucking stupid. PERIOD. With the exception of being a trained professional. Stop being cheap, and go pay for a piercer to pierce you.

  • @S1LVYR if you think its so stupid then why are you here? A piercer wanted to charge me 120bucks for 2 6g piercings. I have done 3 myself, my eyebrow, and my snakebites. And no I'm not a little kid lol heres my fb. FacebookDOTcom/imagoldfishrawr or search KamikazePoptart. I just want to know if I can use the 6g pinchers to pierce them with and trying to find someone. So if your going to post something mean or hurtful just fuck off and keep them to yourself asshole.

  • @zackz22 Doesn't matter if you do it yourself or not. There are nerves in your face that if pierced, can make your face completely paralyzed. Did you know that? Probably not... or did you know that there's bacteria in your mouth that if it gets into the bloodstream will kill you almost instantaneously... bet you didn't know that either.

  • @S1LVYR your so negative

  • @zackz22 At the end of the day, you decide whether you're going to do the smart or stupid thing. I'm just sick of stuipd junior high kids piercing themselves because they think its cool or hardcore.

  • @S1LVYR

Not everyone can afford 60 something dollars for every piercing they want? I started out by piercing myself, and now I AM a trained professional. Do you think that even professionals don't start somewhere? It's like they say, practice makes perfect. It's also like she says too... you need to plan for it and not just do it on a whim. That's when accidents happen. So, as a word of advice from a professional piercer... it would be wise to have someone present whether assisting or not.

  • I peirced my belly button.

I have wanted one for awhile. And I have done it 4 times. I have the 4th one in now. And how I did it, was: Sharpened a ear ring and pushed it through. My friend did it. And we sterilized very well. After a few days, I was able to push an actualy belly ring through. But I think it is going to be infected. Unless it is supposed to be red and a little ugly looking lol. I clean it as often as possible and put ice on it so it doesnt hurt as bad :P

    Im sneaking it Atm lol

  • You are so adorable! haha

  • Stoned

  • Okay, first of all.

No one is going to die from piercing their own body. It's VERY uncommon if you end up dying from piercing yourself.

All of you take this to extreme. I mean c'mon, people have been doing it for years. The more you bitch about how they shouldn't do it, the more they will prove you wrong. K? Your argument is invalid.

    <3 Nice video btw.

  • @banditxlee If you pierce your tongue in the wrong spot, it could hit a certain thing and cause something to go wrong with your brain and you WILL die. Sorry i can't remember the actual things you could hit in your tongue, but yeah.

  • @banditxlee

    Wrong there

Doing a piercing yourself could lead to a blood infection which (you get them from other people's blood being in contact) can kill you, there have been many cases where people have died.. If you are going to pierce yourself, buy a needle offline or from a shop that you know that hasn't been touched by anyone else.

  • @banditxlee It's actually a lot more common than you think. People have died from getting a piercing done by a PROFESSIONAL, in a sterile environment with all the correct tools. What makes you think you're invincible shoving a dirty safety pin through your lip? Yes, people have been doing this for years, centuries even, and yes, people do die from it. Have you never heard of MRSA? Your argument is invalid.

  • But she still did a good job explaining it:)

  • Everyone can suck my cock for bashing her!! She didn't really plan to do the video and she even said she didn't really write anything down. So shut the fuck up!!

  • i 12 year old brother did all my piercings but me and him learned how to do it safely and correct but wat i was getting at is i got all mine done by a thumbtack it took bout a minute each cause i have thick skin

  • @dudewaitwhathuh

Cleaning it three times a day is too much?

Umm sorry but your totally wrong . Your sopose to clean it about 5 times a day .

  • @KenzieWenzie08 no you're really not. that's too much. it will start to irritate the piercing.

  • @dudewaitwhathuh doing it too muchh will. but 5 timess isnt too muchh. ive had my nose both traguses dontt and my bestfriends cousion is a profesinall and she said 5 times is just fine (:

  • Helped a lot, thnx... All I have is a sewing needle so I'm lucky I'm only doing my ears. And I didn't know what to use to clean and how often.

  • what do you use to clean your piercings?

  • I have a question... I want to pierce my naval, cartilage, and tounge. What sites are considered "reliable"???

  • why did it take so long for the need to go thru my belly ?

  • Yeahhh. Piercing yourself is not a good idea.. Unless you're trying to get an infection. And good luck with that. Everyone's different, and just because you use a peircing needle and clean it, you're skin can reject the peircing. But good luckk.

  • i have 3 piercings in each ear witch i have done myself and i didnt use a needle i did all mine with an earring and i dont clean then after. i got my nose pierced [professorially and they gave me hydrogen peroxide and it made it swell and go pussy. so i used savlon spray and it worked really well. i changed my nose piercing after 4 days when i changed i didnt clean it after that and its fine. im not trying to be bitchy or anything i just wanted to help people by personal experience :L xxx <3

  • No no no no no no, and no. It's NOT okay to pierce yourself or others. It's NOT okay to use anything other than a sterilized hollow piercing needle, preferably put into an autoclave seconds before using it. And cleaning it three times a day is too much. With a warm sea salt soak, clean it twice a day for a week and once a day for another week or two and then leave it alone. By the way, you are LUCKY nothing happened to you. Something tells me you know NOTHING about anatomy.

  • @dudewaitwhathuh I agree you aren't to do piercings yourself, I have 8 myself, but when I got my industrial, bellybutton and tragus, my experienced professional piercer told me to clean it three times a day with warm salty water, and he has 20+ piercings himself. I think he knows better tbh, and my piercings have came out perfect.

  • @FaiiFaii98 1) no. 2) who even are you?

  • @FaiiFaii98 also, those two likes were me by accident :)

  • So, let me get this straight. Piercing with a safety pin is way worse than piercing with a sewing needle. That makes so much sense. You, dear madame, are a fucking dumbass. And to everyone talking about piercing themselves, if you can't spell the body part that you want pierced, you probably shouldn't pierce it. Just sayin'.

  • @davisbrittany58 Fuck off Troll. Her friend pierced all her piercings for her, except her belly button.

  • @NotSoEmo22 I'll be sure to fuck off right after you teach me how to be not so emo.

  • @davisbrittany58 Dude, you fucking OWNED that chick who replied and you owned that chick in the video. If you want a piercing, go to a professional, end of. I can't believe people would risk their health when they can get it done for like, 20 quid.

  • @EmiGoesRawrr its not 20 sorry. their around 30-40

  • @wiLzRR It is sorry. I got my bellybutton done for 20, my tragus for 20 and my industrial for 25.

  • @wiLzRR smileys are 40 monroes are 40 and bottom lip is 35:)

  • @NotSoEmo22 He's not a troll. He's right.

  • @davisbrittany58 See said they were both bad, if you actually watched the video a little longer you would hear her say to use a piercing needle

  • U look like Ashley from BVB <33

  • I love your hair <3

  • Gonna try to pierce my eyebraw with a sowing needlee! xD

  • yu kinda remind me of ashley purdy! :D

  • @immamusiclover128 i bought a 10 pack online. and i'm only 15. :)

  • Comment removed

  • LOL her face when she says " i light it on fire" 2:28

  • do you have to be 18 do buy a piercing needle? and
