No the demon clearly states that the protestants have the correct teaching. We can believe this only because the demon was commanded in christ's name to tell the truth. This was a series of pre-exorcisms and the reason why they ask the demon aka Satan the questions is confirmation in what it is that they're dealing with. Father of Lies is the devil in case you were curious. The devil is nothing to mess around with. Not only that. The first movie of exorcism was based on a boy who was possessed (that one movie with the young girl). They were Lutherans looking for help. They went to doctors, they couldn't help them. They went to their church and the pastor himself stated that only a Catholic Priest Exorcist can help him. These priests are not ANY priest. They need permission from the bishop to do the exorcism.

The reason why she got possessed, with her permission, was for that reason. That is why this priest is in fact audio taping it. That is why some people in this case died. If one does not believe these tapes, it would be unjustified for those who died in this case.

This was a possesion meant to help people believe that there is indeed a devil. That is why it is being audio taped. The priest is not getting instructed. He was excorcising the demon out of her. If you pay attention, the priest never engaged in conversation with the devil. Only with the name of the Father, Son, Holy Spirit, and Mary.
