@Ninja0Arts Thats what i thought too, but people keep saying it only broke into 2 pieces. It could may well of broken into 3, people believe it broke into 2 because of the movie. The movie was licensed to change certain facts and characteristics about the tragedy to make a story with it. So, they could of changed it from 3 pieces, to 2, for the sake of making the movie. Still i'm not sure how many pieces Titanic broke into, but if i had to choose which i thought was most likely, i'd say 3 pieces

People have actually studied the ship under the ocean and we know that so much wait in the back above the water would make it come crashing back down on its bottom. The ship then came to a 90 degree angle and made her fateful journey down. Plus if the back flipped upside down it would have possibly been able to stay afloat and everyone would still be dead. The boat cracked and the bow pulled the stern down forcing it to stand at 90 degrees.

not 2 be mean or anithing but heres a part of my GIANT titanic book Q: what happened to the stern?. A: the stern fell back until it was almost level again, although it was still attached to the keel like a giant hinge. however, as gravity pulled the bow (which was completely full of water) toward the seabed, the stern was drawn upright once more before the 2 halves finally separated.the stern silently bobbed in the water before it ,too,slowly began to sink. hope it helps!

Endlich jemand, der den Leuten den fast perfekten Untergang präsentieren kann, und da sieht man jetzt genau, was mit der Titanic geschah! Das einzige, was nicht ganz stimmt, ist, dass sich das Schiff nach der Trennung kompett getrennt haben soll. Das Schiff trennte sich aber nicht ganz, denn der Bug, der nach der Trennung schon unter Wasser war, sank weiter und zog den Rest des Schiffes dann auch unter Wasser!
