  • The gentle touch of a barbell on your back. It's like an angel patting you on the back.

  • In 1991, I was doing a type of "Curcuit Traing" routine. The 3rd exercise was Squats 275lbs for 20 reps! After rep 19, my legs were shaking with instability. "One more to-go!...", said my spotter. At the bottom of the 20th rep, a loud "CRACK" sound! The sound was like taking a broomstick and breaking it in half. I had broken my left knee-cap in half, seperating it by 3". After surgery, removing the "fluid drain" tube from under my knee-cap was more painful than the breaking of my knee-cap.

  • @jzt26 I guess my friends that came to see me in the hospital "didn't care". If you don't care, why make a comment? If I don't care, I don't comment. My reply is to point that out. I think that you are unhappy and just need an outlet to vent on. If it makes you feel better to bash on me, then feel free to do so. That way, at least I helped you FEEL better. The next time you do squats, take whatyou do for 10 reps and do it for 20! That was the routine! You should try it, and then you will know.

  • Great work. I saw another guy do this on youtube about a month ago and decided to give it a shot. Was able to bang out 40 reps last week but burnt out. Going to try and make 50 in the next week or so. By my count there are only 4 videos of this being accomplished currently on youtube and you are the author of two of them. Well done.

  • HOLY CRAP! great form with 225. i can only do 225 about 5-6 reps, but then again i only weigh 130. keep it up man mad respect!

  • Thats Fucking insane..wow.. yeah I also do the 20 rep version with just one plate on each side ..but i do 6 sets...2 srts i can get the 20..then next 2 sets like 15 - 16..then maybe 9-12 on last 2 sets...Do you think I should cut back on the sets and if so how many would you recommend? Does going to say 30 reps for just 2 sets be more beneficial that more sets at 20? Thanks for any help Respect and keep up the incredible work..You are a beast..I am humbled by that performance!   • good stuff on the squats....what do you use to keep your ipod secure when wearing a weight belt and doing squats? Do you have some kind of case you keep it in? Mine gets all tangled up with the headphones and ends up just getting in the way.

  • these are called breathing squats...they are cool, Wow man your a beast. I only did 20 reps with that weight. I did ten the breath and did 3 then breath and so on. My calves, ass, thighs, stomach, traps were burning. Your my inspiration man.
