I'm running as a write in candidate, and will try to get as many other people to run as write in candidates, even if there going to vote for themselves. Does it really matter this next election. As the economy goes south people will get ill, sick, walking wounded...

Any corporately owned media outlet cannot be trusted in our society anymore. We turned off the TV 6 months ago, and it has been a wonderful transformation for our family and the children. I believe we are heading for a total dollar collapse late this Fall.

Things were just so lovely in the two regions of France I just visited over the past two weeks. No signs of recession there. It was amazing. Yet, in other parts of the country here, things are going down down down.

I live in a poor near-suburb of Paris, which has shown recovery since April of this year.

Chateaudun, France, is down in the dumps and no recovery is likely in my lifetime. Huge job losses, empty businesses, houses for sale everywhere.

The two huge regions I saw are doing fine, though. People are definitely not rolling in dough, but it's thriving in a slow, French way. Lovely. And free food all around in the fields, which you can legally glean after the harvest. Lovely.

I like the economic analysis, but the superstitious mumbo jumbo mixed in is only meaningful to the small group of people who happen to share the exact same beliefs. If there was some logical correlation between a religious holiday and the stock market (as there is with Christmas due to sales) I would understand, but the way you throw it in there is like if I said "by the way, tomorrow is tooth fairy day so you might consider buying long on dental products". I have two friends who went to a private 50K a year college & now have been laid off for 5 months. They say there's nothing out there for more than $12/hour. They both have a bachelors degree in anthropology. Another friend has a masters in accounting & can't find a job. And of course these people are in debt up to their eyeballs with college loans.

Well, The dollar on a daily basis is not felt by the average person. It is like slowly boil a frog. By the time the average person realizes that there is a problem, it's too late and are wiped out of there future. Sort of like right now.
