  • it's very nice^^ but you know...you may wanna try hiding and revealing yourself with the veil....like closing the veil around you and opening it slowly, showing just parts of your body, this kind of moviments makes your dance more misterious, charming....not that you're not charmming! your are really good!^^ just tips^^

take care! and keep on practicing! (sorry my bad english...^^`is not my mother language^^`)

  • bunch of opinionated know-it-alls on youtube.

    you did lovely.

  • Beautiful dancing! I've been taking lessons this past summer (although I may not be able to continue once school starts), and it's given me a sense of just letting myself go.

  • I teach bellydance and one of the recomendations that I can make for you is to try to not lock your elbows/arms. That should give you more fluidity. You dance well, keep up the good work.

  • i'm worst than u

  • You are only presenting your dress, you should train more belly-dance...

  • lol check her other vids:S

  • Hi Queen Cassie. I think that you are graceful but I think that you need to work on alot more grase in your moves to make them way better.

  • I like that you used a song w/ less of a beat...it seemed to go better with the slow, graceful, fluid, BEAUTIFUL dance you were trying to convey (plus I've alsways liked that song!) The simple, black outfit w/ that beautiful red veil was a good choice (the red went nicely w/ the whole rose, desert & fire themes)Red's def 1 of your colors (if the red skirt you wore in 1 of your other vids is any indication). Good job!

  • You have a really gracefull dance, your moviments are very delicateds and your habillity with the veil is verry good. Cheers ^^

  • i cant see you very well Cassie. :(

  • As a dancer, I feel the one main thing is you need to be on beat. :< The beginning was very messy.

  • as a dancer, i would suggest a better song (more beats), this is too mellow for dancing. also, try to be a little more spontaneous. even if your are bellydancing, the by-the-book moves are less effective if they aren't fluid and i would recommend just dancing to that sort of music without following the strict movements.

i think you're movements are really good for a beginner. have you danced before you taking up bellydancing?

  • Thanks, I have a bunch of other vids with faster beats, I like variety in music. I just did ballet for a year whe I was little, no other dancing experience.

  • Beautiful work, my dear. I love the way the veil flows and caresses your body (what material is it made out of?) You did a lovely job, as usual and I am waiting for your next dance. By the way, what happened to your gold outfit? I like that one a lot better; it made you look more professional.

  • Thanks, the veil is silk, I prefer that to chiffon of the other heavier materials. I still have the gold costume, but I like change and don't want to be stuck wearing the same thing in all my vids. It might make a comeback but it will awhile.

  • from a bellydancer to a nother .. for a bigghiner ur grate ^_^.. i'm an advance ( ex teacher ) i use to teahc lil girls from the ages of 3 to 17 and i'm 19 and i use to dance in Jerusalem ( a restaurant here in PR )it wass cool.. BTW any 1 that can dance reggaeton can do belly dancing ^_^

  • Thank you, that's cool that you used to teach and at a young age as well.

  • This is meant to be constructive criticism: You have good potential but you are too stiff. Relax. Work on fluidity before you ever pick up a veil. The veil is only an extention of you. I saw your other videos and that is a consistent issue. You are WAY too stiff and it makes you look Very ungraceful, especially your arms. What helped me was by looking in a mirror and watching myself do the movement. Start the movement small and controlled. Once you have it down, then make the movement larger.

  • I was self taught at first, but I did take 6 months of lessons afterwards. I'm still just a beginner.

  • I agree with Sacture. I thought I read in one of your videos that you are self taught? You need to learn from an instructor (esp. when you are starting out). There are some important movements and posturing in bellydance that cannot be "self-taught." Not to sound mean, but it will help preserve your back and posture later on in life. And no offense, but as a fellow dancer, take some lessons.

  • You are a gift. The gift is much better received if it comes in nice package. By package I don't mean you or your costume. The lighting is terrible. If you are going to take the time to produce a video and upload it, work a little harder on the lighting and "stage" (nice wrapping on the gift. I look forward to many more of your videos.

  • I really wish I could afford it, but I can't afford lamps or anything special. I can't even afford a camera that takes vids over 3 minutes. I'm hoping to use outside in the sun once it warms up for light, but that will be awhile.

  • Great job! You should incorporate some spins and turns for a little variety. :)

  • Your veil work is fantastic, and the moves you DO make with your hips and "belly" are brill. As a fellow dancer- you need to work more on the actual hips and belly. Believe it or not, this is where it actually all happens! ;) Remember that the veil is a tool, as is the sword etc... But, what you've got is amazing so far and keep it up! Do you go to lessons or are you visually learning?

  • Thank you, I was giving my belly and hips a break in this one, and just wanted to focus on the flow of a veil this time, but I do understand that if I were performing to utilize my body movements more. I used both a dvd and lessons.

  • this is not belly dancing...you have taken some of the bellydancing moves but i would not classify this as belly dancing. you are cute though

  • Awesome work! I've seen a lot of belly dances from where I came from, I think you're doing great so far.

  • I think I'm in love... You have stolen this werejackal's heart, you beautiful goddess. \|/<3\|/

  • Hey sweetie, you really look like a butterfly moving and dancing between the roses

  • You are great :)

  • Oh yeah, and how about using a bit more knee bending rythm for the music? That might loosen up the stiffness. Just a suggestion! You're doing great.

  • Thanks, I'll work on that!

  • Hey. I watched this video and well, it seemed to be lacking something. I think it's when you walk. It seems too much like your walking. A little too stiff. It should seem to the audience like your either floating, or the undulations of the stomach are pulling you in a certain direction. You seem to have got the foward direction + belly wave down. Maybe work on the sideways motion + stomach? I don't know if I made sense there. lol.

  • perhaps i sound like a perv, but i have just realized this looks so, ermm, classy??, in another vid i commented it looked elegant, and well it keeps me thinking that i will defenately put in my wishlist, to actually get to know a nice, bellydancer girl.

man it looks so HYPNOTIC, so beautifull, let's say it looks like art, mean dont think i'm exagerating here, but it looks so hummm, femenine (is it a valid english word??)

  • yeah intructions! great idea, show us how to do a belly roll!

  • Yes, next week I should have a vid up showing how to do a bellyroll.

  • Where did you find your veil? I've had a difficult time finding one that is lightweight enough. Thanks for sharing all that you've learned!

  • No problem, I bought it on ebay, look for silk veils. Silk flows better than chiffon, though it's more expensive.

  • beautiful

  • beautiful

  • Instructional videos?! YAY! Oh yeah, did you ever think of using light to create a dramatic affect in your videos? I think it would make them much more cooler to look at, not like they arent cool already ;D

  • Wow, so sinuous, and sensuous. Gorgeous!

  • Beautiful Cassie...just beautiful :)

  • the last time i heard this song, I was still in highschool. Just for further info, the song is featuring Cheb Mami (the guy who sing in Arabic)

  • Excatly you deserve a better equipment, people have right to see you dance much better, cos its rare and must seen lol!

  • Your crossovers are very light and natural...it's clear you have been practicing! Have you ever seen Petite Jamilla do the four veil dance? I too agree with others, your lighting needs work...perhaps dance outside! :-)

  • Way too cold to dance outside lol, but maybe in the summertime I might be able to, would make for a nice change of scenery as well.

  • wow, I look forward to seeing the rest! :)

  • You are such a bellydancer! And a very yummy one too!

  • You look so graceful with the veil, it looks like you've been using it for years. The only thing that would really make this vid better is some light- I can barely see you!

But what I can see is awesome. :) Great job, I'm looking forward to the instructional videos so that I won't be teh suck anymore. Well, as much. :Þ

  • I <3 your belly:)

  • It is very nice to see you dance again Cassie. Please shorten the time you are away from us and make more than one vids when you are back.

  • You deserve better equipment, even a professional studio. The lighting is weak. The dancing is not.

  • Lol, thanks, I wish I could use that.

  • WOW your very good at dancing

  • Some very fluid motion that was quite enchanting to watch.

  • nicely done, good flowing movement and control of the veils, added to the last vidclip on undulation and footwork, you're also growing in to your physique with each passing day...nice job... :) (could use a ''bit'' more lighting...)

  • Lol, working on the lighting, I'm thinking of getting one of those floor lamps that you can bend to throw light where you want it.

  • COOL! First review! Looks amazing, girl. :)
