I LOVE CELIBIDACHE. But this is too slow. SHE is dying, but she is singing about the death of her children. She has a fantastic breath, but's too slow. The music breaks into parts without context.

Ce n'est pas tant la lenteur du tempo que le fait que Mme Fassbaender est souvent au bout de son souffle ce qui brise un peu l'élan de la ligne. C'est quand même une superbe vision de l'oeuvre par deux magnifiques artistes.

Et encore un superbe video de M. Operazaile. Merci!

Si d'accordo ma troppo lento, snervante e poi la Fassbaender pur con tutto il rispetto dovuto all'enorme artista che fu, non e' a suo agio con Mahler.

Qualcuno ha scritto che a volte Celibidache dirigeva in modo "insensato". Se c'è uno a cui proprio non si può appiccicare quest'etichetta è proprio lui. I suoi criteri sono stati chiariti e diffusi nel corso dell'intera sua vita, al contrario di tutti gli altri. Questa è Musica, con un senso!
