Another example would be a device which can absorb energy from the proven ever existant sea of energy around us. This is what free energy researcher generally believe they are tapping into.

The 'free energy' from the sun, wind, water is not 'free' in the sense that all of these sources can be used up... all of the energy comes from the sun (a nuclear reaction that does not just 'generate' energy... it will burn out), and perminent magnet motors must run out as well (at best, you get the energy that was used to make them magnets in the first place .. not much)

this is not an example of the hutchinson effect, but nonetheless, this is something simple and great. no this is not FREE energy, you have to use mechanical energy to hold your magnet down so it will repel the other magnets *BUT* it does what we wish for machines do, take very little input for a HUGE output.
