Um. I had 7000+ EMS, and your galactic readiness through online play doesn't matter, as developers said, if you finish all the side quests well.

We don't care about Shepard dying. But to create an ending to a trilogy that produces more questions than answers, that doesn't care about choices we made in 3 ME games, that just does not make sense at all any way you look at, is unacceptable.

And ME is a franchise that is loved by many (me included), that's why their endings are more scrutinized.

@skw4712 Actually galactic readiness does affect your EMS. (Total military strength) x (galactic readiness) = (effective military strength). It is very difficult to achieve the best ending without multiplayer as the requirement is 5000 EMS which would require 10,000 TMS if you don't play any multiplayer.

@DownUnderD i dont think its that exaggerated. i got no where near 10,000 total miltary strength (as you simply cant do enough missions and get enough assets to get that much) but i managed to get past 5000 EMS with 68% readiness through multiplayer. multiplayer is a great help as it speeds up the process of getting the ems you need, however it is simply a bit more time consuming if you aim at getting the 5000 ems without multiplayer. not neccesarily more difficult, but more time consuming.

lmao, that ending reminded me of Jurassic Park on the SNES... took near 12 hours straight playing to complete (had to do it in 1 sitting due to the fact they never put a save game function in it). Then on completion you got a Mode 7 graphic of a supposed helicopter flying over the island, screen goes black and the text "CONGRATULATIONS, YOU HAVE ESCAPED JURASSIC PARK" comes up and that's it. Only its not quite it, I hit the eject on the console and threw the game at the wall, the THAT was it
