We have a high concentration of Wal-Marts here in Kansas City. Some have Murphy USA gas stations and a few have a Wal-Sams (next to a club) gas station. Their gas is horrible.

About a year ago they closed up one of the last remaining Hypermart USA stores. It was huge (270,000 sq ft) and had one of the first mall-like area in the front (McDonalds, arcade, etc.).

Ironically in 2007 the store that may have killed the mega malls tore down one to relocate the Hypermart.

NO...it was the Radio Frequency ID devices they attach or actually have BUILT IN the items (like shoes). They are common now but can trigger the alarm if you weren't deactivated right at the stands. There were false alarms on other's tags too. Sometimes the it would back up and it was annoying.

My area's stores have been here barely 10-15 years and the one here was the 1st SC in the region. I can't believe you've shopped there longer than 5 years, much less more than 5 times.
