As always - bad dummy-choice from director - some secs before that crash the driver was seen with some standard-80's-tractor like GMC, they've just used the old Ford-dummy for the "downhill" ;)

was gunna say looks like its from a tv show or movie- but actually brakes on a truck dont go out like that-in the case of air pressure loss(airbrakes) the brakes apply automatically. the emergency brake essentially is released with sufficient air pressure and when u dont have air pressure the ebrake is essentially applied.
