  • Why the fuck would you even make this video? Why would you even ask that question? Tell you what sweety, you work retail for a while, and you tell me how you like your precious custormers.

  • walmart is the biggest front ever i work their and rite down too the crazy as customers. they allow them to do and say anything they want to us. and may be fired if we defend ourself. i agree sinbad.

  • I bet Sam would say, "Why are both my employees and customers such dumb sons-of-bitches?"

  • 100% TRUE

  • Wait a minute...I need clarification...is this a bit from an actual WalMart shareholders meeting? Seriously? When will people get it?! Why do they let them get away with calling them stupid, yet still gladly hand their money over to them for their inferior merchandise? I guess because they don't know that it's happening, maybe? Get the word out! Friends don't let friends shop at WalMart!!! PASS IT ON!!!

  • yeah i believe and the walmart here in Brownsville Texas 5493 recently all the workers were denied the quarterly bonus because the store did not makes sales during the most busiest months of November, December, Januarary and Feburary no sales were made and and no bonuse money was given,,,Oh!!! but the management team got their juicy fat bonuses checks! Tino Vidraui store manager got $30,000 in bonuses and the rest of the management got little less but the workers????

    were struglling !!!

  • Maybe if customers respected us we'd appreciate them a little more. I never have problems when a customer politely asks for my help. I'm more than happy to help them. I will however, become irritated if you yell at me for something I have no control over. Or talk down to me and call me stupid just because I'm wearing a blue vest. I'm a 19 year old girl trying to save money for school as well as pay for rent and a car. (And yes, I actually have been called stupid and incompetent by a customer).

  • Wal-mart treats their workers like scum.So thats they pass it onto you.I can't tell you how long I've had to wait just to get a lunch break. Yet let alone being blamed for not being in four areas at once. I have two hands and I'm not a slave

  • Haha, this is amazing! <3

  • Sadly, when Mr. Sam passed - so did his beliefs. It is now about getting the cheapest quality product for the cheapest wholesale price and pushing it to the shelves as FAST as possible. YES, they TIME us stockers on how long it should take to put up the freight in each department. What better incentive to ignore customers and shove product anywhere?

  • The employees don't care about the customers b/c they're not given enough incentive to. If Walmart really cared (as all their warm and fuzzy commercials would influence you to believe) they would treat their employees better (let them form a union, get proper pay, bonuses, reasonable medical insurance, a REGULAR weekly schedule, etc.) And if the employees were treated well, guess what? The customers would be, too.

  • I so agree about the part about reading signs and looking around part. I get so many "Clerks" type questions when I'm working (there's a part in the film where the main characters talk about the stupid questions people ask).

Did this speech really happen? It sounds so.. against the training videos we have to go through

  • A bit obsessive much?

  • This video is actually really funny. And everyone, managment included no matter what they say would like to smack customers up side the head for shear stupidity sometimes. Personally I would never treat a customer bad but there are just those people who are just like DUH moron.

  • anyone who has worked in retail knows how hard it is to deal with customers. Its pretty standard that you get hard to please people sometimes you just let them bit..ch and agree with them till they get tired of complaining and move on. Defending the company doesn't help you at all because they will turn their back on you fast if it serves them better.

  • Also..until you have actully worked at Walmart you have no idea what it's all about..So dont say what you would and would not do..because you dont really know until put into that situation..

  • As a walmart associate myself, I personally known what it is like to be pushed to your limit with a customer..The thing that is missing here is that people have lost respect for one another. That and Sam and Mrs. Walton are both dead now..and the company has lost all of the original standards and values.

  • I would never treat a customer with a bad attitude! So sad you expect the same response out of every associate. As for the store changing, yeah it changes. I hate to break it to you, but change happens. Get over it.

  • walmart customers...are stupid

  • I heard that w**mart rearranges everything on a regular basis so you spend more time in the store and buy things you DON"T need.

  • we rearrange stuff on a regular basis, because we get new stuff in everyday, and need to find a area where they will fit :p

  • I went in there for Ziplock bags....two hours later i had to ask some women with a vest that said "how may I help you?" on, who turned around and looked at me like i had a live chicken on my head simply for apporaching her. Turns out the ziplock bags were with the beauty supplies....gee...I must be the moron.

  • Im sure she didnt put the ziplock bags in with beauty supplies just to ruin your day.

  • No, she just gave me an attitude for not understanding that something that should be with foil and saran wrap was instead with cotton ball and shampoo...I'm sorry it must be my fault for not being psychic.

  • Maybe the customers have to ask these questions because the store employees are so fed up with being paid crappy wages and not having enough benefits to keep their teeth from rotting out of the heads that they never restock anything so you can actually FIND IT in under an HOUR!!!

  • an employee cant re-stock what someone hasn't ordered.

  • Spoken like a true Walmart employee. Good job shifting the blame! FYI: As a single mother last year, I worked at Walmart for a month before I had to quit due to a family emergency. I never employees talk so badly about customers before then! It was truely very sad & I am thankful that I did not become that way.
