I was born with cataracts in both eyes. I got my left eye fixed when I was 6 my right when I was 12. Its not that bad at all, well the surgery is. The cataract sucks because it really does mess up your vision.

When having Retinal Detachment surgery, will they at least sedate you BEFORE they stick the Anesthesia needle in?? I am SO scared or have anything sharp stuck into my eye while conscious. Hopefully, I don't have to feel a damn thing!
