my opinion is thats the same thing as the original , but others say itz totally different because of the sound improvements(when u pick up ammo theres a different sound) and colour tweaks and a very slight mobility change(the bodies are more dinamic,limbs have bigger mobility) i hope im understandable

Half-Life and Half-Life: Source are only on the PC (,don't know about Mac, nor do I care about Mac). Although there has been a PS2 version of Half-life that features the high-def pack in the game, which means it looks better then this and has different models. Also, the PS2 has an exclusive split-screen co-op mode with its own story line.

One last thing, I tried doing a Deus Ex video but when I run Fraps with it, it slows the game down to a crawl. While the FPS and sounds goes normal, the actual speed of the game is greatly reduced.

Except for performance, I am really annoyed of all the quick-run game movies. It's like: "Whoa, this guy is good, but what was the game all about?" I really like taking the time to enjoy the feeling and act realistic. I would love to see a complete game movie, but one that can tell a story and not bore you. Great job in that respect. If you could do Deus Ex as you said, at least parts of it, it would be great. Now THERE you have the story, the props and the means, if you want.

Well, technically no, but really it is. Half-life Source is exactly like Half-life except it runs on the source engine which means the only really differences are rag doll bodies and the realistic looking water (though everything else looks like the original game).
