@rh7onda7 They're proper snooker frames. Normal glasses don't give you the coverage when you're horizontal against the table, so snooker frames are extended up, so you still have your corrected vision, even though you're looking pretty far "up".

Not questionable taste, but practicality over style.

I remember Henri Leconte (French, for Henry The Cunt) would similarly pratt and prank about during the tennis, pretending to be a limp wristed homo and sitting in the line judges chair for example. He was a real ham actor in a long line of French clowns. Then he'd suddenly go all red and serious and rush a flashy looping backhand down the line with impudent gallic haut.
