After hacking my wii, and installing homebrew, my wii wont read any of the other game discs I have asides from the smash brawl. WHAT DO?!?! I've been looking around for a detailed instruction for this type of problem, but I cant find one. please reply, I really appreciate it.

Hi, when i install it, it doesn't install actually install. I can load it and download stuff, but once I pull out the SD card, well, HBB disappears... it doesn't intall! I have 4.3U, NTSC-U.

@hemidemisemiquaverr If you go to the settings in HBB and tick the "Use SD card". Then assuming you have HBB on the SD card, you won't need a USB memory stick.

@BrainMaster1000 You need to have a SD card reader/writer on your PC then on your SD card create a folder called "apps". Go to codemii(dot)com and view the download page. Download the latest version and follow the instructions on the download page.

THANKS FOR THE INFO!but i managed to figure it out.sorry i just forgot to remove my comment after i figured it out.yup....after i got the homebrew browser i downloaded code downloader and then i downloaded codes for ALL of my games,and then i downloaded that gecko application to use my cheat codes.i had to figure it all out though but once i did i had AMAZING fun with super mario galaxy 1&2!and i also downloaded that dragon media player too so now my wii doubles as a music player!WII ROCKS!

@adonis699 In theory you could but it would be too complex to do so. There would be a constant back and forth of moving homebrew boot.dol around that it's not worth doing so. If you follow the HBC install guide you will be fine!

@footieboy50 In the settings, you need to turn off "Offline mode". Some USB devices might not mount properly because of the filesystem used, try another USB device and/or try to format as FAT32.

FTP server is just a simpler way to transfer files to your Wii without having to take the SD/USB out and plug it into your PC.

Have you tried removing the directory and see what happens? Do you see it say "Checking for Homebrew Browser updates..."?

After installing the Bannerbomb Homebrew Channel, this was the first app I added from the computer. I got all the other apps through this app downloaded directly to the SD card. It worked marvelously! I loved it! The emulators and Gecko OS are the best part.

I got the Homebrew channel, currently running the USB Loader GX to play back up games therw an external harddrive. Games such as Resident Evil 4 etc. is running great. There is none, because the Browser will download the applications to an SD card, it can put them in the console's memory. Not to mention that in order to install the Browser, you need to first install the Homebrew Channel and for that you MUST have an SD card.

I'd say just buy an SD card, they're not that expensive and it's totally worth it since there are already some very good games, not to mention the emulators, plus that the potential for homebrew is virtually limitless!
