@sultanofdrums489 It's done with guitar rig. I used a plexi model amp, with the screamer sim, compressor (to get some more sustain), and reverb. I also used a Crybaby sim, but the open/close effect is done as post editing with protools. The guitar is a gibson 335 dot. bye :)

This is my all time no.1 favourite YouTube movie! I can't stop watching it. To be able to play like Rono would be the ultimate achievement known to man for me. You are an awesome musician and thanks for posting this movie. I'll be watching it a few thousand times more yet!

@MrMamation It's halfway from the studio version (the notes are from ziggy stardust, /watch?v=kLbvcqq18gs) and the live version (the effects like the wha wha use, /watch?v=BGWYGR3xy2Y). :)
i just found this solo, and you did a great job. i have worked on a few days and almost got it. i have a line 6 spider valve 212 w/ short board and les paul standed my sound is close, noware near as good as the job you did, BRAVO

Great sound from your amp and guitar - what's the wah pedal? Not only have you captured the sound so well but your subtle use of the wah and bends, both up and down, make this the best version I've heard next to the great man himself.
@gzs99 It's a fake sound, done with Guitar Rig. Here it's summer and i can't play with my windows open and my real gear, without cops at my door. Thanks! ;)
