Would be interesting to run a MRI scan on a "hypnotized" person, see if there's any difference in brain activity. If it doesn't change, I wonder what exactly's going on.

(FYI, my dad's a psychologist, and says that hypnosis is actually possible, to a certain extent, by following most of the basic tips in this video.)

This video gave me a completely new perspective on hypnotism. I never knew that it is as simple as getting someone into a calm state, I thought it would be a very complicated procedure that only experts could do.

I find it really difficult to get into a calm state, plus I find it hard to fall asleep, so I imagine that I would be very difficult to hypnotise.
